ACTi INR-350 Standalone Network Video Recorder

The ACTi INR-350 is a 64-Channel 2-Bay Tower standalone NVR that allows you to record and store video from network cameras. It supports up to 64 cameras and comes with two hard disk slots, which can be expanded up to 8TB each.

Hardware Installation

  1. Unpack the INR and make sure it’s turned off and disconnected from the power source before proceeding.
  2. Open the chassis cover and insert the hard disks into the slots. Secure them with bundled disk screws.
  3. Connect the data and power cables from the motherboard to the hard disk connectors.
  4. Repeat the process for the other hard disk slot and replace the chassis cover.

Device Connection

Connect the INR to a power source and plug in any external devices such as cameras, monitors, and USB devices. The INR can obtain an IP address automatically if your router has DHCP enabled.
If not, you can assign a static IP address through Windows Network and Sharing Center.

Software Configuration

Create disk volumes using Windows Disk Management so that the INR can access available storage space. Initialize each disk by choosing GPT as the partition style. Create a new volume by selecting a volume type, assigning a drive letter, and giving it a proper label name. Follow the on-screen wizard to complete the process.

For first-time use, set up the administrator password using the NVR3 Administrator Tool. This will be used for succeeding Windows logins.

For detailed instructions on installation, operation, and troubleshooting hard disk issues, please refer to the product manuals provided on the ACTi corporate website or the System Administrator’s manual provided on the ACTi Download Center.
