OPERATING

INSTALLATION

Unpack and carefully check that there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep the equipment packaging. To fully protect the device against vibration, dust and moisture during transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable for transport or storage, respectively.

The device should be located on a secure, solid surface such as the floor. The machine can operate in any orientation from 45 degrees upwards to 45 degrees downwards. Take precautions to avoid Liquid spills if the machine is oriented at an angle.

Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the mains voltage and before all other connections have been made.

2. Precautions/ safety warnings

– The LFM-110 was developed for private use only, disco party etc.
– The LFM-110 is only approved for a mains connection up to 230 VAC 50/60 Hz
– Regular breaks during operation will increase the lifetime of the LFM-110.
– Take care that no cables are lying around. You would endanger your own safety and also the safety of a third party.
– Keep the LFM-110 dry and keep it away from water or high humidity. It could reduce the isolation of the device and cause short circuit and/or electric shocks.
– When using the LFM-110 fog machine you have to ensure that there is still a good visibility of at least 10m.
– Don’t operate the device during thunderstorms. Surge voltages can damage the device. Unplug the LFM-110 from the power supply during thunderstorms.
– Keep Surrounding objects at a safe distance of >1m
– Keep the device away from children and never operate it unattended.
– Never aim the nozzle directly on people; the ejected fog is very hot!
– Never use flammable substances, oil, gas, perfumes, etc. in your fog fluid.
– Never aim the nozzle on open fire or flammable objects.
– Make sure to fill the LFM-110 with fog fluid in time. If the machine is operated without fluid it can cause damage to the pump or the heating block.

– Never drink the fog fluid. If this does happen, please contact a doctor. If the fluid came in contact with the eyes, immediately rinse with a lot of water.

Fog Operating

Filling the unit

NOTICE
Possible damages caused by unsuitable fog liquid. We advise to use Lenco FOG liquid FML-100 or similar.
Warning: don’t use Oil based Haze fluids. These will damage the LFM-110

First, make sure the unit is disconnected from the mains
Open the screw-cap of the liquid tank and fill in the fog Liquid. Make sure that no fog Liquid is spilled or gets into the device. The easiest way is using a funnel. The tank capacity is 1.0 litre. Make sure the little filter of the tank hose is immersed into the smoke fluid. Firmly screw the cap back onto the tank

NOTICE! The tank hose opening in the cap is NOT fluid tight. When transporting the LFM110 firstly remove the unused smoke fluid to prevent smoke fluid coming out and damaging the LFM-110

Turning on the unit

NOTICE! Fire hazard
Do not operate the LFM -110BK unattended.

Connect the device to the mains and switch the device to “Light &FOG” with the Power switch. Allow the unit heat up 5 - 6 minutes
As soon as the required operating temperature is reached, the green LED on the wired control will light up, meaning the device is operational.

Operating:
When operating the fog machine, always ensures that there is sufficient fog liquid in the liquid tank to avoid no-load running.

Operation with an empty liquid tank can lead to overheating and permanent damage of the pump
WARNING: When the fog machine is in use don’t touch the top of the casing and the Fog nozzle on the front since they will get hot. Never aim the fog nozzle directly on people within a range of 50cm when in use. The ejected fog is very hot!

Turning the unit off
Allow the LFM-110BK to keep unused for several minutes before switching the Power Switch to OFF. Turning off the power switch during fog production can cause damage to the heat exchanger.
Allow the LFM-110BK to cool completely before packing/storing.

The nozzle of the LFM-110BK may remain hot for up to 10 minutes after power is shut off.

Switch the device “OFF” with the Power switch. Disconnect the device from the mains. Transport the device only when it is completely cooled down.

To avoid leaking fog Liquid during transport, you should transport the device only with empty liquid tank.

WARNING
If the machine will be unused for an extended period of time, follow the Storage and Shipment instructions listed under Maintenance to prepare the machine for long term storage.

If it is blocked, it can be cleaned with white vinegar. It is also recommended to use white vinegar for three or two months.
The recommended cleaning procedure is as follows.

  1. Unplug the product from power.
  2. Remove all fog Liquid from the machine.
  3. Add some cleaning solution (white vinegar) to the tank until the fluid reaches the first \ vertical marking indicator on the back
  4. Connect the product to power and allow it to warm up.
