Product Information
The CR-SQ is a car audio component that allows you to adjust the crossover of your sound system. It comes with a manual that includes instructions on how to set it up and use it. The CR-SQ has different settings that allow you to adjust the slope and frequency of the woofer cut-off, the slope of the midrange cut-off, and the level of the tweeter.
Please note that it is important to pay close attention to the advice and instructions of your car manufacturer. Playing music too loudly can cause permanent hearing damage.
Product Usage Instructions
To adjust the slope and frequency of the woofer cut-off:
- Locate the Jumper at MB.
- Move the golden bridge inside the 0 dB connector to keep the midrange from being cut off from the high end.
- Move the golden bridge inside the 6 dB connector to cut the midrange with 6 dB/octave to the high end, reducing a too-loud high midrange section.
- Move the golden bridge inside the 12 dB connector to cut the midrange with 12 dB/octave to the high end, further reducing a too-loud high midrange section.
To adjust the level of the tweeter:
- Locate the Jumpers labeled I+, I-, M+, M-, H+, H-.
- Move the jumper to adjust the tweeter level:
- 0 dB for no adjustment.
- -3 dB for lowering the tweeter level by 3 decibels.
- -6 dB for lowering the tweeter level by 6 decibels.

Note on safety:
Playing music too loud can cause permanent hearing damage.
Wiring
Woofer cut-off slope
By changing the Jumper at MB, the cut-off slope in the range of take-over to the tweeter can be adapted.
- The golden bridge must be inside the 0 dB connector. In this way, the midrange is not cut to the high end. The advantage is better efficiency because of no components in the circuit.
- The golden bridge must be inside the 6 dB connector. This circuit cuts the midrange with 6 db/oct. to the high end. Therefore a too-loud high midrange section can be reduced.
- The golden bridge must be inside the 12 dB connection. This circuit cuts the midrange with 12 db/oct. to the high end. Therefore a too-loud high midrange can be reduced more.
High-frequency level tuning
By changing the Jumper, the level of the tweeter can be adjusted.

systems) Products with the symbol (crossed-out wheeled bin) cannot be disposed
of as household waste. Old electrical and electronic equipment should be
recycled at a special waste facility. Contact your local authority for details
on locating a recycling facility nearest to you. Proper recycling and waste
disposal will help conserve resources whilst preventing detrimental effects on
our health and the environment. This product can be disposed of with the used
car together. In this case, don’t remove it from the car.
