Product Information:

The VeriMark is a Windows 10-compatible fingerprint reader by Kensington that allows users to easily and securely log in to their devices using their fingerprint. It provides an additional layer of security to the traditional password-based login process.

Product Usage Instructions:

  1. Install the driver through Windows 10 Optional Windows Update by following these steps:
    • Go to Device Manager and right click on the unknown device and select Update driver.
    • Click on Search automatically for drivers.
    • Click on Search for updated drivers on Windows Update.
    • Make sure your Windows 10 is up to date. If not, please install all updates first or you might not see the VeriMark driver appear on the update list.
    • Click on View optional updates.
    • The Kensington fingerprint key will show on Device Manager once the driver is installed.
  2. Set up VeriMark for Windows Hello by following these steps:
    • Select and click the START icon and select Settings.
    • Select Accounts.
    • Click on the Sign-in options tab.
    • Click on the Windows Hello fingerprint option.
    • Then click the Set up button.
    • Click Get Started.
    • Touch the sensor multiple times, and follow the scanning instructions.
    • When prompted to try another angle click next and continue scanning and following instructions.
    • Click on Set up a PIN.
    • Type the password to verify the account and click OK.
    • Type a PIN and click ok.
    • If you want the PIN to contain letters and symbols, select the option.
  3. To remove your fingerprint, click Remove under the Windows Hello Fingerprint options.

Install the driver through Windows 10 Optional Windows Update

  4. Make sure your Windows 10 is up to date. If not, please install all updates first or you might not see the VeriMark driver appear on the update list.-

How to Remove Your Fingerprint
