Blackburn Central Bar Tape
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove all old handlebar tape and clean the bar.
- Make sure any brake or derailleur cables that will be wrapped over are secured to the handlebar with electrical tape.
- Turn the brake lever hoods inside out and apply tape over the brake lever clamp bands.
- Starting at the bottom of the handlebar, begin winding the tape toward the top of the handlebars. Overlap the tape in a spiral pattern, pulling firmly, do not over-tighten.
- Wrap the finishing strips around the ends of the trimmed tape to secure.
- Insert the end plugs into the handlebar ends.
WARNING: Periodically check to make sure that the handlebar tape is secure to the handlebars. Loose handlebar tape should be re-wrapped or replaced if it is ripped or unable to be safely re-wrapped.
