Combination Emergency Exit Light
The Combination Emergency Exit Light is an indoor lighting device that includes an exit sign and emergency lights. It is designed to provide illumination during power outages and emergency situations, allowing people to safely exit the building. The device comes with a remote control and rechargeable battery.
Important Safeguards
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not mount near gas or electric heater.
- Use caution when handling batteries. Avoid possible shorting.
- Equipment should be mounted at heights (MAX:11ft) to prevent tampering by unauthorized personnel.
- The use of accessory equipment is not recommended by the manufacturer, this may cause unsafe conditions.
- Do not use this equipment for other than the intended use.
- Save these instructions.
Installation Instructions
Ceiling Mounting:
- Connect 20 jumper leads to A.C. input leads in J-box, fasten J-box bracket to J-box. Use Red wire is for AC input, 100V~300V, White wire is common.
- Fasten canopy to J-box bracket.
- Snap housing to canopy.
- Connect and trim input leads to socket leads at upper left corner of housing wire channel.
- Secure faceplate to housing. Remove the proper arrow as required.
Back Mounting:
- Connect 20 jumper leads to A.C. input leads in J-box, fasten J-box bracket to J-box. Use Red wire is for AC input, 100V~300V,White wire is common.
- Remove necessary knockouts and fasten back cover to J-box.
- Snap housing to back cover.
- Connect and trim input leads to socket leads at upper left corner of housing wrie channel.
- Secure faceplate to housing.
Note: Unused wires must be capped using enclosed wire nuts.
Operation
- During an electrical power failure, the lamps on the unit will automatically come ON for a minimum of 90 minutes.
- To test this unit, let it charge correctly with AC power supply for a minimum of 24 hours after its first installation and then depress the TEST switch, the emergency lamps will illuminate. When the switch is released, the lamps will turn OFF.
- To test the unit by using remote control, click the button on the remote control (don’t long press), the emergency lamps will illuminate and then go off in 3 seconds after releasing the button. The operation distance is MAX. 4.5m.
Note: When relamping, only use lamps specified in the exit sign. Using
other lamp types may result in transformer damage or unsafe conditions.
Battery in this unit may not be fully charged. After electricity is hooked up
to unit, let the battery charge up for at least 24 hours, then normal
operation of this unit should take effect.

emergencies and provide necessary illumination to safely exit the building.
