Product Information

The GMRVD is a plug-and-play cable that enables the connection of aftermarket monitors and IR headphones to the factory entertainment system in full-size trucks and SUVs with rear seat entertainment (RSE). It can also be used to route audio and video signals to the RSE LCD while keeping the factory head unit. The cable is terminated with RCA jacks for audio and video inputs and outputs.

The GMRVD features a shield wire that should be connected to ground for optimal performance. It is intended for use in conjunction with an OS-4 to retain all safety and convenience systems. The vehicle should be equipped with a Panasonic Overhead LCD and IR system where the DVD player was part of the AM/FM/CD receiver. The OS-4 is needed to power the IR headphone system.

Note that the manufacturer and distributors of the GMRVD will not be held liable for consequential damages sustained in connection with the GMRVD. Additionally, they will not authorize any representative or individual to assume obligation or liability other than its replacement.
