Only allow a licenced professional to connect the appliance

The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply during all installation work.

Wear protective gloves to prevent injury from cuts. Parts that are accessible during installation may have sharp edges.

Check the appliance for any transport damage before installation.

Do not lift the appliance by the door, door handle or lower air vent.

For installation, currently applicable building regulations and the regulations of the local electricity supplier must be observed.

This appliance corresponds to appliance class 3 for installation in a kitchen unit according to the installation drawing. Observe the minimum distances.
Preparing kitchen units
- Fitted units must be heat-resistant up to 90 °C, and adjacent unit fronts up to 70 °C.
- The mains socket must be located outside of the built-in niche.
- Any cut-outs that need to be made in the units should be made before the appliance is installed. Remove any shavings, as they may prevent the electrical components from working properly.
- Secure any unsecured units to the wall using a standard bracket.
- Do not fit the appliance too high up; it must be possible for accessories to be removed easily.
Electrical connection
- Ensure that there is sufficient fuse protection for the household wiring. The voltage and frequency of the appliance must match the electrical wiring (see rating plate).
- The appliance corresponds to protection class 1 and must only be operated with a protective earth connection.
- Fuse protection by means of B- or C-type circuit breakers is required.
- The wiring must have an all-pole isolating switch with a contact gap of at least 3 mm. This must still be accessible once the appliance has been installed.
- Appliance without power cable: Only connect as shown in the connection diagram. If necessary, fit the copper bridges supplied.
- The appliance may be damaged if it is not connected correctly.
- Power cable: Type H05 VV-F or a higher rating. The yellow/green wire for the PE connection must be 10 mm longer than the other wires for the appliance.
Connection to the home network (LAN)
This appliance is network-compatible and can be connected to the home network
using a LAN cable (LAN cable not included). Before installation, plug the LAN
cable into the socket on the rear of the appliance and secure it using the
strain relief. Connect the LAN cable to a network socket.
Fitting the appliance

Push the appliance all the way into the built-in unit.
Do not kink or trap the power cable, or route it over sharp edges. -
Remove the transport securing device from the door. Centre the appliance.
There must be an air gap of 2 mm between the appliance and adjacent unit fronts. -
Using a spirit level, position the appliance so that it is perfectly level.

Secure the appliance at the top on both sides using the screws provided.
Removal
- Disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
- Undo the securing screwNs.
- Lift the appliance slightly and pull it out completely.
