DESCRIPTION
The AccuSpray Elite is a hand-held, manually pumped stainless steel sprayer
designed for the application of small quantities (16 oz or 437 ml) of water-
based or oil-based formulations. The sprayer is sold with the
Extenda-Ban valve, though additional valve options may be available.
Please refer to the appropriate User Guide Addendum for additional details on
your sprayer’s features.
SAFETY
Please ensure you have read and fully understood the safety precautions before operating this appliance. Instructions for use of this product will vary depending on the formulation and application of the product. Always read the formulation label when preparing your solution
- Always comply with any requirements for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the formulation label.
- This appliance is to be kept out of reach from children. However, it can be used by children aged 8 years and above, as well as persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or lack of experience and knowledge, provided they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way, and understand the hazards involved.
- Children should not play with, clean, or maintain the appliance.
- This sprayer can be used with water-based, oil-based, and solvent-based formulations.
- Do not pressurize tank with external air or gas source; do not over-pressurize.
- Do not adjust the tip or change spray patterns while depressing the valve trigger.
- Do not store or transport the unit whilst the tank is pressurized.
- Refer to rating plate where present on the tank of some models.

BEFORE USE
INSPECT
- Always inspect the hose, tank gasket, discharge valves, and nozzle for signs of wear or damage. These parts must be in full working condition prior to tank pressurization.
FILL
- Mix all formulations according to label directions.
- AccuSpray Elite comes with a measuring cup for mixing the correct amount of formulation in the bottle. The cup is marked in milliliters.
- Pour the liquid formulation from the original container into the measuring cup.
- Rinse cup into the AccuSpray Elite bottle.
- When mixing water-based formulations in the tank, first add approximately half of the water, then the chemical, followed by the remain of the water required (unless specified otherwise on the label).
- Replace the pump and tank cap assembly, be sure the tank gasket fits properly; tighten the cap until snug (do not over tighten).
CHOOSE TIP
The AccuSpray Elite has many nozzle options, depending upon the type of valve selected. Refer to the User Guide Addendum for your valve to learn more about changing and choosing tips.
PRESSURIZE
- Pump plunger 8-10 times until desired pressure for application is achieved.
- Do not pressurize over 50 PSI (3.45 Bar).
OPERATION
- Aim the nozzle at the area to be treated.
- Squeeze the valve grip, liquid will exit in the pattern associated with the tip selected earlier.
- The flow rates of water at 20 psi / 1.38 bar are provided for the various tips in the User Manual Addendum, the most common are listed here. Always calibrate for the formulation you are using.

CARE, MAINTENANCE, AND REPLACEMENT PARTS
- Always empty and flush tank, valve, and extension with clean water after each use; never leave chemicals in machine for extended periods of time.
- Do not use bleach or ammonia-based cleaners, these will damage the stainless steel and brass parts.
- Do not store in freezing temperatures.
- After rinsing the tank with water, pressurize the tank and flush the valve and hose.
- Inspect hoses and hose connections, gaskets, washers and other fittings for wear; replace when necessary. Use the AccuSpray Elite repair kit (#24000037/1608003935).
- Clean the filter at the hose/valve connection regularly.
- Do not use metal objects to clean the orifices in the nozzle, this will disrupt the liquid spray pattern.
- All parts are available for purchase from your distributor or B&G Equipment.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
Tank is not holding pressure. |
- Tighten tank cap.
- Replace pump gasket.
Tank is not getting air pressure.|
- Replace pump tube gasket.
Pump cylinder is filling with waterwhen pumping.|
- Clean around the check valve at the bottom of pump cylinder.
- Replace the check valve.
Holds pressure but will not spray.|
- Nozzle clogged, clean with a soft brush.
- Cracked siphon tube, replace.
- Siphon tube clogged, clean end.
- Clean strainer at the base of the valve, atthe hose / valve junction.
Valve body leaking.|

- Normal wear & tear.
- Damage caused by abuse, misuse, alterations or by not completing the recommended maintenance.
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.
