Product Information

The PTC heater model NTY15-19CAE is manufactured by GD Midea Environment Appliances MFG.Co., Ltd. This heater comes with a power selector knob, temperature control knob, power indicator light, handle, and air inlet/outlet slots. It has a power supply of AC 220-240V ~ 50Hz and offers two power settings – low (1000W) and high (1500W). The heater also has two oscillation settings – low and high. The dimensions of the product are 210 x 145 mm.

Product Usage Instructions

Before using the NTY15-19CAE PTC heater, please read the instructions and safety precautions carefully:

Do not cover the heater to prevent overheating.
Children should not be allowed to play with the appliance or use it unsupervised.
Do not place the heater directly below a power outlet.
Avoid using the heater near a bathtub, shower, or swimming pool.
Children under 3 years old should be kept away from the heater unless constantly supervised.
Do not attempt to clean or maintain the appliance without supervision if you are inexperienced or lack knowledge about its safe use.
Dispose of the product responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources.

To use the NTY15-19CAE PTC heater:

Place the heater on a flat surface with enough space around it for proper ventilation.
Plug in the heater to an AC 220-240V ~ 50Hz power outlet.
Select the desired power setting (low or high) using the power selector knob.
Adjust the temperature using the temperature control knob.
The power indicator light will turn on to indicate that the heater is running.
If desired, select the oscillation setting using the power selector knob.

SAFETY INSTRUCTION

Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
The heater must not be located immediately below a socket-outlet.
Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
CAUTION — Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION

Check before turning on the machine

Check if the power wire is under good condition.
The product adopts 220-240V AC power supply, before use, please confirm if the rated current of the power socket meets the local requirements with safe grounding device, otherwise, please replace it with the qualified socket.

Temperature Control Knob

Insert the plug into the power socket, then turn the Temperature Control knob clockwise, when hearing the “poop” sound (it means the temperature controller is on), adjust the Temperature Control knob to the desired temperature level.

Power Selection Knob

Turn the Power selection knob to select between 4 functions: Low “ ”1000W,
High “ ”1500W ,Low swing 1000W(LOW OSC),High swing 1500W(HIGH OSC)
Turn off the Heater
A. Turn the Power selection knob to the OFF position.
B. Turn the Temperature Control knob anticlockwise to the initial position.
C. Remove the power plug, and store the heater after the entire machine has become cool.

Safety Protection

Overheat protection: When the temperature in the heater is too high due to abnormality in the use environment or improper use, the thermostat device can automatically cut off the power and the heater stops working. After the whole heater is cooling, the heater can return to normal use after removing the abnormality.
Inversion protection: When the whole heater is inverted, the safety system will automatically cut off the power, and return to the work state before inversion after the body is placed upright.

Troubleshooting

If the product does not operate or does not operate properly, first check according to the following list. If the reason the product does not operate or does not operate properly is not included in the following list, the product may have failed. At this time, it is recommended to send the product to the dealer for treatment.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTION

Light-accumulated dust may be removed from the heater with a soft cloth. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater occasionally with a cloth moistened (not dripping wet) with a solution of mild detergent and water. Dry the case thoroughly with a soft dry cloth before operating the heater.
The fan motor is lubricated by the factory and will require no further lubrication.
No other user maintenance is required or recommended. If service is required, send your heater to the nearest authorized service depot.
Store the heater in a clean and dry place when not in use.

REMEMBER – Portable electric heaters are designed for spot heating, or as a supplementary heat source. They are not intended to be the main sources of heat during the normal heating season.
Note: There may be a trace of smoke or odor when the unit is first operated. Do not be on the heating coil during the manufacturing process. It will quickly evaporate, and should not reoccur.
