MAYTAG 7 Cu ft Steam Cycle Electric Dryer
Product Information: Dryer Cycle Guide
The Dryer Cycle Guide provides information about the different cycles and options available on the dryer. It also includes important safety instructions that must be followed to prevent fire, explosion, or injury. The dryer has Sensor Cycles that sense the moisture in the load or air temperature and shut off when the load reaches the selected dryness level. This provides better fabric care and energy savings. The dryer also has different cycles for drying different types of items such as heavyweight items, work clothes, delicates, and bulky items. Not all features and cycles are available on all models. The temperatures shown in bold are the default settings for each cycle. The dryer also has different options such as Wrinkle Prevent, Mute Cycle Signal, and Pet Pro that can be used with certain cycles.
Product Usage Instructions
Before operating the dryer, it is important to read the IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS located in the Owner’s Manual.
When using the dryer, follow these instructions:
- Do not dry anything that has ever had any type of oil on it (including cooking oils) or anything that has ever had anything flammable on it (even after washing). This can result in death, explosion, or fire.
- Items containing foam, rubber, or plastic must be dried on a clothesline or by using an Air Cycle.
- Use the appropriate cycle for the items being dried. Refer to the Dryer Cycle Guide for more information.
- Select the desired temperature setting. The default temperature setting is shown in bold for each cycle.
- Select any available options such as Wrinkle Prevent, Mute Cycle Signal, or Pet Pro.
- If settings are changed, they will be remembered. If there is a power failure, settings will return to the default.
- Do not overfill the dryer drum when drying bulky items. Partway through the cycle, the signal will sound to indicate when it is time to rearrange items for optimal drying.
By following these instructions, the dryer can be used safely and effectively to dry a variety of items with different moisture levels and fabric types.
