VAN RYSEL D500 Interactive Turbo Trainer
Failure to observe the following warnings may lead to an accident that could result in death or serious injury.
WARNING
- Read all instructions carefully before using the home trainer.
- Do not use the home trainer if it isn’t working properly
- Before getting on the bike, make sure it’s properly installed (as horizontal as possible and not askew) and correctly attached to the home trainer.
- Please consult your doctor before beginning or modifying any exercise programme.
- Do not put your hands or objects near the moving parts of the home trainer
- The home trainer may become warm to the touch when used for an extended period.
- Do not attempt to disassemble the bike while the flywheel is in motion.
- Keep children and pets away from the home trainer while in use.
- Only use the home trainer on a stable, level surface with properly adjusted levelling feet
- Prevent the home trainer from coming into contact with water.
- Use only the power supply supplied with the home trainer
- Make sure the cassette and bike are securely attached to the home trainer before each ride.Unplug the home trainer when not in use
SAFETY INSTRUCTION
- MAX user weight 115 kg
- The home trainer can only be used with bikes with a minimum wheel diameter of 26 inches (but exclude certain types of bikes such as children’s/teenagers’ bikes)
- In hot weather, use the home trainer in a ventilated, cool place (avoid heatstroke)
- Make sure your computer, tablet or smartphone is fixed or placed on a stable item and is not likely to fall during use of the home trainerIf in doubt, should you refer to this manual, the FAQs on the support site or the workshop?
AFTERCARE
- Switch off then unplug the home trainer before cleaning it or carrying out any other maintenance procedure >> if it’s hot, maybe it’s advisable to let it cool down?
- To avoid any imbalance or vibration when using the home trainer, do not drop it during assembly
- Store the home trainer in a dry place at room temperature
- Wipe down the trainer after each use. The home trainer should only be cleaned with a dry cloth and should not be exposed to cleaning solvents or abrasives
- Keep the home trainer clean and free of debris
- Regularly check if the nuts and bolts of the home trainer are tight.
