Overview

The 82-5202-XX email/text generator is capable of monitoring up to 2 sets of contacts and sending out an email and/or text message due to the following events:

  • a monitored contact opens or closes
  • the generator is powered on
  • the generator loses connection to power or WiFi network

One or two email.text generator modules are installed in a plastic housing that has a  conduit hub on the bottom.  n AC power supply is installed to the left of the email/text generator(s). The power supply’s AC input terminals are wired to a terminal strip at the bottom of the mounting plate to make it easy to connect power at the installation site.

    Installation Instruction

  3. Position the monitor on a vertical surface at eye level (4 1/2 to 5 feet from the floor).

  4.  Use 3/16” screws through the slots in the mounting feet at each corner of the housing to secure the housing to the mounting surface.

  5. The contact terminal strip(s) and email/text generator module(s) are shipped uninstalled and stored in the enclosure. Plug the email/text generator module(s) into the USB port standoff(s).
