Product Description

Indicator Status

• Red Light On: Camera Start up/ Restart.
• Green Light Flashing: Waiting for Connection.
• Green Light On: Successfully Connected.

How to reset camera:
When the camera is turned on, use the reset pin provided, and press and hold the reset button for about 5-8 seconds until you see the Green Light blinking alternately and slowly.

APP Download and Registration

Search for “Tuya Smart” in App Store or Google Play.

Click “Register”, enter the user name and password to complete the registration. The camera is also work with “Smart Life” App.

Pre-Setup

• Turn on the camera and Reset the Camera.
• Please place the camera within 2 meters of the router.
• iPhone must turn on App privacy permissions.

WiFi Connection

1. Open “Tuya Smart” App and click” Add Device” or ” + “.

2. Select “Camera& Lock” – “Sman Camera(Dual Band)”.

3. Click “Wi-Fi Mode” and then Click “AP Mode”.

4. Please enter the correct WiFi Account and password. (Do not have special characters or text in your password).

5. Click “Go to Connect”, go to WLAN List and Find Camera Hotspot. Starts with “Smartlife-XXX”.

6. Connect to “Smartlife-XXXX” successfully, And then return to the “Tuya Smart” app.
   Important Note: This WLAN network has no internet access connect anyway? Yes, Please Keep Connected.

7. Waiting for the connection to succeed.

Note: If the WiFi connection times out, check whether the WiFi password is correct. Or reset the camera and try again.

System Settings

Click the icon ( • • • ) in the upper right corner to enter the setting interface.

• Device Information: Checking Device ID.
• Basic Function Settings: Contains 3 Settings: Status Indicator: Led indicators can be hidden. Flip Screen: The screen flips 180 degrees. Time Watermark: Disabled – the time is not displayed.
• IR Night Vision: When turned off, there will be no clicking sound of night vision switch.
• Detection Alarm Settings: Motion Detection sensitivity setting. Human body filtering: Human detection can be set.
• Storage Settings(Up to 256G): Format the TF card before using it for the first time.
• Recording Settings: Motion detection recording or long cycle recording can be set.
• Share Device: You can share camera with your family.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why can’t I connect to WiFi while the countdown is over?
   Answer:

   • a. Make sure the WiFi fast and stable.
   • b. Android is above Android 5, iPhone is above iOS 11.
   • c. iPhone must turn on App privacy permissions.
   • d. Your phone should keep connected to the “Smartlife-XX”. Hotspot during the countdown until the connection is successful.

2. Why isn’t this card working?
   Answer: Please check this card:

   • a. Capacity Max. 256GB.
   • b. Class10 or above.
   • c. Genuine Micro SD card (Or it might not work).
   • d. Please do not insert the reverse Micro SD card.

3. Why can’t I save the video to my phone?
   Answer: You can select a short video on the playback interface of the app to download to your phone.

4. Why can’t Micro SD card files be played?
   Answer: To protect your privacy, the memory card can’t be read by any device. This minimized the possibility of the file being leaked. If others remove your memory card, they can’t access your files by reading them through a card reader and downloading the videos since it’s encrypted.
