IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this electrical appliance, the basic safety precautions below should be followed:

We recommend that great care be taken during use and cleaning. Read the cleaning and maintenance sections of this appliance carefully.

Before use, check that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the appliance nameplate.

If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or any other similarly qualified person in order to avoid any danger.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair, or adjustment.

Always place this appliance on a firm, flat and level surface away from water.

Do not allow children to pull the power cord or tamper with the appliance, to avoid personal injury or damage to the appliance.

Before serving, unplug cord from wall outlet. Do not leave cord within a child’s reach.

Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

Do not leave the cord hanging over the edge of tables or counters.

Do not let the cord touch hot surfaces.

Do not operate the unit at the same time as other appliances with a large power consumption.

During use, please be mindful of the steam coming out of the steam vent.

Always use oven gloves when handling hot parts; avoid hot steam rising from the steam vent at all times when in use. After use, remove the housing carefully to avoid being scalded by steam.

The liquid in the appliance remains hot after other parts of the appliance have cooled down. Please handle carefully.

Do not touch hot parts such as base, heating element, inside the bowl to avoid being scalded. Use handles or knobs.

Ideally, do not move the appliance while in use. If necessary, exercise extreme caution to avoid being scalded.

Ensure the steam vent is not blocked and do not insert foreign objects into the vent.

The use of non-recommended attachments or those sold by vendors other than the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

The appliance must not be immersed.

Do not use outdoors.

Pour a few drips onto your inner wrist to check that the temperature has not been exceeded.

Only use clean water or milk in the bowl to operate the unit.

Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembly, disassembly and cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts.

Make sure the liquid is at a safe temperature before serving.

This appliance is strictly not for use by children.

Do not use appliance for other than intended use.

This appliance is intended to be used for household and similar applications.

a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a longer detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used: -
The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;

The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally; and
If the appliance is of the grounded type, the cord set or extension cord should be a grounding-type 3 wire cord. -
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized outlet one way only. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to modify the plug in any way.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above under supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be carried out by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of children’s reach under the age of 8 years.

Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved

FUNCTIONING
BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
- Unpack all the appliance parts.
- Clean all the parts (see section «CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE»).
Before using, it is recommended to fully clean the appliance and all the accessories.
WARNING
Read before use.
The appliance heats liquids to different temperatures (22°C, 37°C or 48°C).
- If several heating cycles are carried out within the space of an hour, the heating cycle length will be reduced.
- For the best drink temperature, the preparation must be served as soon as the heating cycle ends.
It is extremely important to check the temperature of the bottle contents before feeding a child.
HOW TO USE THIS APPLIANCE
To prepare bottles or other dairy drinks:

Pour the necessary quantity of water or milk into the stainless-steel bowl.
WARNING: The MIN and MAX level inside the bowl must be respected. -
If needed, add the necessary quantity of baby milk formula or chocolate powder into the stainless steel bowl.

Fit the lid with its attached stirrer into the bowl.
-
Plug the heating unit into the mains.
-
Press the button ( ) once or repeatedly to start the unit by selecting the temperature:
1 time for a temperature of 22°C (bottle at room temperature).
2 times for a temperature of 37°C (bottle at body temperature). 3 times for a temperature of 48°C (warm milk, hot chocolate). -
Five beeps indicate the end of the cycle and the light flashes. Press the button once again to stop the flashing light, then unplug the appliance.

Lift the bowl by holding the handle and place it on a flat surface.

Lift the lid with the attached stirrer.
-
Pour the preparation into a bottle or a recipient.
-
Check the temperature and give it to your child.
Note: The warning light ( ) will light up if the use of the product is incorrect (see table with trouble shooting below).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Before cleaning, unplug the appliance and allow it to cool down completely.
- Never immerse the housing in water to clean.
- Wash the bowl, the lid and the stirrer with water and soap or in the dishwasher.
- Do not use corrosive detergent, detergent with chemical powders or hard metal wire mesh to clean, as this will damage the appliance surface, affect the service life and cause safety problems.
- To avoid any risk of burns do not touch the heating element with your hands.
- When not in use, clean and dry the appliance, and then put it into the packaging box and store in a dry place with good ventilation.
- If needed, fill the bowl with water and white vinegar or the Béaba descaler product for Babycook (100ml white vinegar + 100ml water).
- Leave to soak until deposits have completely disintegrated (one night).
- Rinse with clear water several times.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The warning light flashes and the beep sounds|
- The bowl is badly positioned on the base
- There is no water or milk in the bowl
- The bowl has been removed before the end of the cycle.
- The bowl has not been removed at the end of the cycle, the temperature has continued to increase and is no longer at the selected temperature.

- There is not enough milk or water in the bowl (heed 90 ml minimum level
- The preparation was not served immediately at the end of the cycle
The mixture is not homogeneous| The water/powder dosage was not respected
