Please read this user manual before using.
Before you begin
About WiFi:
- The place where you want to install the WiFi outdoor plug should be covered by your home WiFi.
- Your mobile device must be connected to the same WiFi which the device will connect to ( ONLY works with 2.4G networks ).
But once connected at 2.4G from your phone, you can connect to 5G network that is on the same subnet and it will still control the Smart Switch.
About Bluetooth:
Make sure the Bluetooth of your mobile device is ON.

Setting up the smart WIFI outdoor plug
Attention!!!
Please set it up using the (Tuya) Smart Life APP then you enabled the skill in
Amazon Alexa / Google Assistant / SmartThings.

Get the ” Smart Life ” App from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

Open the Smart Life app, and log in with your ” Smart Life ” account. If you don’t have an account, create one first.

Power up the outdoor plug, hold the Setup Button on the device for about 5s and release until the indicator is flashing rapidly.
Note: When not in use, the sockets should be firmly capped with the included weather-resistant cover.
Please NOTE:
1. The red light flashes slowly it means wait to connect the WiFi, once it turns off means connect successfully.
2. The red light is always on, it means not to connect the WiFi. -
Tap the + button on the top right corner, the nearby devices will be discovered automatically, choose the device you want to set up.

Enter the password of the WIFI network that your mobile device connected, then it will start registering the device to the cloud.

After you successfully set up your plug, you can control it wherever you are or create schedules to run as needed.
Setting up with Amazon Alexa

Open the Amazon Alexa App, tap “Skill” on the menu to go to the Amazon Skill Store.

Search the Skill name “Smart Life” in the search bar.

Enable the Skill and type in your login information from the App account to finish the account linking.

Tap “Discover Devices” to sync your devices to Alexa, after about 20s, the devices will be discovered and Alexa will tell you “I found XXX devices”, then you can control your devices using voice through your Amazon Alexa devices.
The following voice commands are supported: Alexa, turn on/off “XXX”
Setting up with Google Assistant

Open the Google Home App, tap “Home Control” on the menu.

Tap the add icon “+” on the botton right.

Find “Smart Life” from the list.

Type in your login information from the App account to finish the account linking.

Once the linking was successful, you can assign the devices to rooms, then your devices will be listed in the Home Control list.
The following voice commands are supported: Google, turn on/off “XXX”
FAQ
They connected to the wifi immediately and easily and alexa finds them and connects and within 2 minutes they disconnect. Why can not get these plugs to stay connected to the wifi?
– If the WiFi signal is not strong enough and thus cause disconnection, please try to connect the WiFi again, or use a WiFi signal amplifier to expand the WiFi coverage and ensure that the WiFi connection remains stable.
Can the 2 sockets be controlled independently?
– Yes they can. Each socket can be controlled independently on the App or through voice assistant like Siri, Alexa and Google Assistant.
If there is a power outage while smart plug is on. When the power is restored, do the smart plugs automatically go to ‘on’ position?
– For safety, the plugs will be off after power resumed.
What devices can I control with this Wifi plug?
– You can control lights, fans, humidifiers, portable heaters, and outdoor electric appliances with this outdoor Wifi plug.
If Wifi connection is lost, will it continue its schedule? For example set to come on at sunset and no Wifi that day, will it still come on at sunset?
– Yes, it will. The App programs the device for timing which then is programmed into the timer and will remain whether Wifi is connected or not. Even if power goes out, when it returns, the schedule will continue as set.
