General questions:
How do I assemble my vacuum?

pod.
Insert the handle into the top of the wand, making sure you hear and feel a
click to know the parts are secured.
Insert the bottom of the wand into the nozzle, making sure you hear and feel a
click to know the parts are secured.
Optional: Attach the accessory clip to the top of the wand for additional
accessory storage.
What if my vacuum is lifting area rugs?
Suction is powerful. Using the suction control slider on the handle, reduce suction to a lower suction level. Take care when vacuuming area rugs or rugs with delicately sewn edges.
What happens if I experience small static shocks while vacuuming?
Certain dry conditions in winter or dry desert areas may cause common static electricity to build up in the vacuum, producing small shocks, similar to what you might experience from contact with doorknobs, wool sweaters, or blankets. This is harmless. In order to avoid this, we recommend moisturizing your hands and/or removing wool socks or sweaters prior to vacuuming.
General questions about using the vacuum:
How do I use the different cleaning modes?
The controls on the vacuum handle allow customization of floor mode, and suction modes. Press the floor type icon on the left to toggle between carpet and hard floor modes. Press the fan icon to customize suction control levels on either floor surface.
Reduce suction levels on either floor type if you are finding difficulty pushing/pulling the vacuum. If your vacuum/nozzle is lifting area rugs, make sure the floor mode setting is set to the Hard Floor setting.
How and when do I adjust the suction?
Using the suction slider on the handle, reduce suction levels on either floor type if you are finding difficulty pushing/pulling the vacuum.
How do I turn my vacuum off?
You can turn off your canister vacuum using the power button located on the canister pod.
How do I clean above-floor areas?
For above-floor cleaning with the handle only: Press the Handle Release button on the front of the handle and pull up on the handle to detach it from the wand. Attach an optional accessory of your choice to the handle.
