To operate this unit correctly, please read the operation manual carefully
before use. Keep this operation manual handy for further reference.
This unit is designed for DC 12V negative ground operation system. Make sure
your vehicle is connected to DC 12V negative ground electrical systems. Be
sure to connect the speaker (-) leads to the speaker (-) terminal. NEVER
connect the left and right channel speaker wires together or to the vehicle’s
body.
The normal temperature for operation is between -20 and 60 degree Celsius. Do
not work in extreme high or low temperature and block vents or radiator panels
of the unit, blocking them will cause heat to build up inside the unit and
may cause damage or fire.
This unit can Play multimedia files: MP3, WMA, AVI, MP4, JPEG, BPM
WARNING
To ensure the safety of your car and those around you, please be sure to
follow these basic
requirements. Please read all instructions carefully before using this
receiver.
- To avoid violation of traffic regulations, do not watch any multimedia content on the receiver while driving.
- To avoid short circuiting, do not let the unit come into contact with water or be penetrated by any metallic objects.
- IF your receiver does not work properly, please call a professional repair station for maintenance.
- Do not use your receiver with the engine off for extended periods of time. Doing so will cause your cars battery power to be depleted.
- Do not insert objects into the ventilation slots or any other outlet of the device.
- Do not allow sharp objects to come into contact with the receiver’s screen.

REMARKS
Mounting brackets and screws should be made available by your vehicle and are
not provided with this unit.
Due to the laws and regulations of certain countries, video playback is not
allowed when the vehicle is in motion. To allow video playback while in
motion, the brown (brake) wire should be connected to the ground location
(b-) of the car battery.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT

Replace only with the same or equivalent type of battery.
BATTERY DISPOSAL
Pay special attention to where you choose to dispose of your dead batteries.

fire, or any similar circumstances. If batteries are disposed of or placed
incorrectly you put others and yourself at risk of explosion.

LINK UP WITH MOBILE PHONE
To connect your phone to this unit via Bluetooth, follow these steps:
- Make sure your phone can be discovered by other Bluetooth devices
- Search for a new device
- After searching, find this unit (DDX7CP), and confirm the connection
- Your phone will ask for a pairing code (the default code is either ‘0000’ or ‘8888’) in order to complete the connection
- The other connected bluetooth devices should appear on the screen indicating that the connection was successful

ON SCREEN – AUTOLINK OPERATION
At MAIN MENU, touch to shift to AutoLink mode.
- The Auto Link function is used for android phones.
- The cable should be used to connect the android phone to the front USB slot of the head unit.
- When the android phone is connected at the first time, scan the QR code, follow the instruction of the connected phone and download “Autolink” application from Google play store.
- Open “Autolink” application after download, mirror linking appeared on screen and android phone, operation can be started and controlled by touching screen of the unit.
ON SCREEN – APPLE CARPLAY OPERATION
At MAIN MENU, touch to shift to Apple CarPlay mode
- The CarPlay function is used for iPhones.
- The cable should be used to connect the iPhone to the front USB slot of the head unit.
- When the iPhone is connected with the head unit, then will show below picture. You can make calls,play music, view maps, listen to podcasts, ets.
- In the Apple Carplay mode, you can talk to siri to control the CarPlay functions.
- Press on the head unit or your iPhone siri button to start the Siri function, Now you can talk to Siri for any command you want.
Note: For Siri function in the source unit, the Microphone has to be connected.

SIMPLE TROUBLE SHOOTING Problems, Causes & Solutions
No power
– Check and make sure the connecting wires are connected correctly
– Check whether the fuse is blown. Replace with the proper value fuse if
necessary.
No sound
– Check and make sure the speaker wires are connected correctly.
No picture
– Check whether the video wire is connected to the video device.
Unit hang -up
– Press the RESET button to reset the unit to its default stage.
No function when pressing the buttons or TFT screen
– Press the RESET button to reset the unit to its default stage.
Poor effect or unable to receive radio
– Check whether the radio antenna is inserted or properly connected.
– Antenna may not be the proper length. Make sure the antenna is fully
extended.
– Antenna may be poorly grounded. Check and make sure the antenna is properly
grounded.
Stereo cannot be received under radio mode
– Tune the radio frequency accurately.
– The broadcasting signal is too weak, set the mode to MONO.
Remote handset does not work
– Replace new battery of the remote handset.
– Point the remote handset directly at the remote sensor of the main unit.
– Clean the surface of the remote sensor.
Bluetooth not operated
– check the devices are linked up correctly.
