COMPONENTS
EASY INSTALLATION
J-Box Mounting

Turn off circuit breaker that provides power to the light switch.

Unsnap backplate using 2 slots at bottom of light fixture. Set aside housing.

Feed fixture leads through the back plate and connect to AC power supply wires in your junction box (not included).
• For 120V, use black and white wires.
• For 277V, use red and white wires. -
Attach back plate to J-Box and secure with screws.

Complete the battery connection inside housing.

Align the snaps and push housing onto the back plate.

Turn on circuit breaker and test light.

Allow battery to charge for 24 hours prior to use as an emergency light source.

Abide by related regional and local laws or regulations.

In accordance with regulations, your emergency lighting system must be tested monthly for a minimum of 30 seconds and annually for 180 minutes. To check, press the “TEST” button.
If working properly, the lamps on the unit should on. -
Proper grounding is required to ensure safety.

Do not use outdoors or mount near gas or electric heaters.

Equipment should be mounted in locations and at heights where it will not be subject to tampering by unauthorized personnel.

Check for damage during shipping prior to install. If the product is damaged, do not use it.

Turn off the switch and circuit breaker before installing this LED light fixture.

To ensure efficient light, regularly clean the light panel. Do not clean with harsh solvents.

Use safety precautions. Safety eyeglasses and gloves are recommended.

Turn off circuit breaker that provides power to the light switch.

Unsnap backplate using 2 slots at bottom of light fixture. Set aside housing.

Secure backplate to wall surface. Route wires through hole in conduit flange and make conduit connection.
• For 120V, use black and white wires.
• For 277V, use red and white wires. -
Complete the battery connection inside housing.

Align the snaps and push housing onto the back plate.

Turn on circuit breaker and test light.

Allow battery to charge for 24 hours prior to use as an emergency light source.
IMPORTANT
- Charge the battery for at least 24 hours prior to use as safety lighting.
- Battery in this unit may not be fully charged. After electricity is hooked up to the unit, let the battery charge for at least 24 hours. It is then ready for normal operation.
- Use flexible conduit only.
- Unused wires must be capped with a wire nut.
OPERATION
- During an electrical power failure, the 2 LED lamps will automatically come on for a minimum of 180 minutes.
- To test (after charging for 24 hours), depress the “TEST” switch on bottom of the light fixture. The 2 emergency LED lamps will illuminate. When the switch is released, the lamps will go off.
