IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS READ CAREFULLY AND KEEP FOR FUTURE REFERENCE
Read this manual thoroughly before first use, even if you are familiar with this type of product. The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury when correctly adhered to. Keep the manual in a safe place for future reference, along with any warranty information and your purchase receipt. If applicable pass these instructions on to the next owner of the appliance. Always follow basic safety precautions and accident prevention measures when using an electrical appliance, including the following:
Electrical safety and cord handling
- Voltage: Before connecting and turning on the appliance, ensure the electrical voltage and circuit frequency correspond to those indicated on the rating label.
- Power supply system: Make sure the power supply system (current, power voltage and cabling) at your home can meet the normal loading requirements of electrical appliances.

Levelling the washer
- Install the washer on a stable and level surface, in a dry location, out of sunlight.
- Open the lid and look inside the tub. It should be level in the centre of the housing. Use the levelling aid in the top right corner of the machine (Fig. 5) to help you check and ensure that the machine is installed level.
- If levelling is necessary, you can raise or lower the adjustable foot at the front right side of the machine (Fig. 6). The maximum permissible inclination of the supporting surface is 2°.
CAUTION: Installing the washer on a carpeted floor may cause vibration issues. If you must install it on carpet, make sure not to block any ventilation openings on the bottom of the washer.
Working environment
We recommend installing the washing machine in an environment where
temperatures do not fall below 0°C or rise above 40°C. Too low or high ambient
temperatures may cause the unit to malfunction. If the washing machine is
stored in an environment below 0°C, it must be left at room temperature for
about 4 hours before it can be used to prevent any frost causing damage to the
machine.
Connecting the water inlet hoses
The water inlet hoses are supplied separately (in bags inside the washing tub)
and need to be installed to your hot and cold water taps following the
instructions below.
- Check and ensure that the sealing gaskets are firmly in place in the joints of the water tap ends (Fig. 7).
- Attach the straight ends of the hoses to your water taps. Make sure to attach the hot water supply hose (with red markings) to the hot water tap and the cold water supply hose (with blue markings) to the cold water tap. Tighten the coupling nuts securely by hand (Fig. 8).
- Before connecting the curved end of the hoses to the corresponding inlet valves of the washer, check and ensure that the sealing gaskets are firmly in place.
- Connect the inlet valve nuts of the hoses to the water inlet connections at the top of the washing machine (Fig. 9). Tighten the nut securely by hand, turning it clockwise while holding the hose. (To detach the water supply hose, turn the nut anticlockwise after turning the tap off.)
- Turn on the taps and check for leaks. Tighten the nuts firmly if there is any leakage. If your water pressure is strong, close the water tap completely, then open it slightly.
Installing the drain hose
The drain hose is supplied separately (in a bag inside the washing tub) and
needs to be installed following the instructions below.
- Pinching the two bands of the clamp on the drain hose, connect it to the drain hose connection at the back of the washer (Fig. 10). Make sure the clamping ring is firmly in place to ensure a secure connection (Fig. 11).
The drain hose can be installed into a drain spout or into a sink/tub.
- If installing the drain hose into a drain spout, the height of the drain hose must not exceed 6 cm from the bottom of the machine (Fig. 12).
- If installing the drain hose into a sink or tub, the height of the drain hose (A) must not exceed 90 cm from the bottom of the machine (Fig. 13).
Power supply system
- Make sure the power supply system (current, power voltage and wire) at your home can meet the normal loading requirements of electrical appliances. The electrical voltage and circuit frequency are listed on the appliance rating label.

CAUTION: Do not overfill detergent! Too little detergent will give poor
washing results, but too much will affect rinse performance and may cause
overflow of suds, which could interfere with machine operation. Add detergent
into the detergent drawer.
If adding bleach, dilute it with water and carefully add it into the slot in
the balance ring for dispersion through the wash. If adding fabric softener,
dilute it with water and carefully add it into the slot on the balance ring at
the start of the final rinse.

FAQs and Troubleshooting
Not all unusual incidents you may encounter with your washing machine are faults, or cause for concern. Check in the list below what issues may arise and why. Also check in the table on the following page for solutions to other common problems.
Common non-fault phenomena
-
The drain hose is leaking water during the first use. Does this indicate there is a problem?
No, this is normal; it is residual water from the performance test in the factory and no cause for concern. -
Why is there still some water intake during the wash or rinse cycle?
When the water level is low, the washing machine will automatically refill during the washing or rinsing process. This is no cause for concern. -
At the beginning of the spin cycle, why is the tub turning first and then stopping?
This is intermittent spinning and it results in better spinning performance. -
During the spin cycle, why is the machine spinning and then stopping suddenly and taking in water again?
If the washing is piled up at one side of the tub during the spin cycle, the washing machine automatically takes in more water to redistribute the load. Once the load is balanced again, the spin cycle will continue. -
Why is there a sound like water flowing after spinning?
This is the sound of the balancing liquid in the balance ring. This helps reduce vibration during spinning. -
Why is the control panel still warm after the power is switched off?
This is caused by the memory circuitry still working. -
I cannot operate any buttons during operation of the washing machine.
This is the default setting of the machine. You first have to pause the machine.
Other Useful Information
Cleaning and care
To prolong the service life of the washing machine, keep it in good condition
and perform regular maintenance. For any type of cleaning and maintenance,
make sure the washing machine is disconnected from the mains power supply.
Cleaning the washing machine (when required)
- Use a soft cloth to wipe any water or dirt off the washing machine lid and housing. If using a damp cloth, squeeze it almost dry to avoid leaving water residues.
- The detergent drawer may be pulled out for cleaning, if required. Other inside parts should be wiped with a damp cloth, if necessary.
- Do not use any chemical, alkaline or abrasive cleaning agents to avoid damaging the surface. Do not spray water directly onto the washer housing.
Cleaning the tub (every three months)
- Make sure all laundry items are removed from the tub, then wipe it clean with a soft, dry or damp cloth.
- If you notice any rust residues left inside the tub from washing items with metal parts (such as buttons or zippers), wipe the residues off immediately with chlorinefree detergent. Never use steel wool.
- To remove dirt and/or detergent residues and scum build-up from the inside and outside of the washing tub, run the Tub Clean program without any clothes and with hot water (close the cold water tap). As a cleaning agent, use a commercially available washing machine cleaning product according to the instructions on the product, or use a mix of bicarbonate of soda (½ cup) and white household vinegar (2 cups).
- At the end of the tub clean program, open the lid and let the machine air-dry for at least one hour before closing the lid again.
Cleaning the lint filter (suggested interval: every week)
To pull the lint filter out of its space inside the tub, press and hold the
hook, as illustrated (Fig. 14). Remove the filter from the filter cover and
turn the filter bag inside out (Fig. 15). Wash the filter in warm, soapy
water, taking care not the damage any parts (Fig. 16). Then rinse it
thoroughly under running water and let it dry naturally. Reinstall the filter,
making sure it fits securely behind the cover clasp and latches and locks
securely into place (Fig. 17).
Cleaning the water inlet valves (suggested interval: every 2 months)
To avoid blockage of the mesh filter at the water inlets after long time use,
detach the water inlet hoses, making sure you have turned off the water supply
at the taps beforehand. Clean the mesh filters inside the inlet valves
thoroughly using a soft brush (Fig. 18). Then reconnect the water inlet hoses.
Pump strainer maintenance
We recommend you clean the pump strainer regularly (at least once a month) to
avoid blockages created by excess lint, fluff or items such as bobby pins or
coins. Proceed as follows:
- Disconnect the washer from the power source.
- If necessary, wait until the water has cooled down.
- The pump opening is located at the side of the washer, in the base (Fig. 19). Place a pan or dry rag underneath the opening to collect any spillage.
- Turn the strainer cap and take it out gently. Always keep a rag nearby to dry up water spillage when removing the pump strainer.
- To remove any objects from the strainer, wash it thoroughly in a basin or under running water.
- Put the clean strainer back in its seat and turn it until it is securely closed.
