Part A: What is in the package

The package includes 1 a self-checkout kiosk, 2 a power cord, 3 & 4 two keys to the kiosk, 5 a pin pad holder, 6 a wireless scanner, 7 two keys to the internal printer, and A type of screws.
Note: pin pad and network cable are not included in the package.

Part B: How to assemble the accessory devices and power on the kiosk

  1. Open the back cover of 1 with key 3. Find MD-2290- 238TTL300 cable and thread it out through the hole on the left side of W. Connect the cable to the cradle of wireless scanner 6. Use key 3to lock the back cover.

  2. Put the wireless scanner on the cradle. The tilt of the screen can be adjusted to 6-degree or 20-degree. 20-degree is for general needs, and 6-degree is for ADA compliance.

  3. Attach pinpad holder 5 to the right side of with three A screws.

  4. Use key 3 to open the panel door on the lower back of 1. Put a pinpad (not included in the package) on pinpad holder ®, and connect the pinpad to the right USB port on the panel with a pinpad USB cable. Power on the pinpad.
    Plug in power cord® and connect it to a well-grounded UPS power outlet. Turn on the kiosk.
    P. S. The left USB port on the panel is usually reserved for the kiosk software upgrade.

  5. Connect the kiosk to store network with an R145 network cable. Lock the panel door. Assembly of the equipment is now complete.
    Warning!! Please make sure the equipment is grounded before turning it on. Otherwise, it may cause electric shock or damage to the equipment.

  6. Insert the printer key 0to the printer locker and turn the key clockwise to open the door. Place new paper or replace the paper in the printer if neccessory. Leave the end of the paper roll outside the door and make sure the paper roll comes out from its top. Push to close the door. If the blue light turns on, the printer is ready to work. Otherwise, please check the above process to ensure the paper is placed and the door is closed properly.

  • Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
  • Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
  • Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
