Breastmilk Storage Bags Directions for Use
TO FILL
- Open bag by tearing away safety seal and pulling zipper apart.
- Use ballpoint pen or permanent marker to fill in the name, date, time and volume. Avoid using felt tip markers.
Pour milk into bag.
Caution: Do not fill past 6oz. Breastmilk will expand when frozen.
- Remove air before sealing.
Seal the zippers completely.
Caution: Do not stand bag upright on its own until zipper is sealed.
TO PUMP INTO BAG (2 WAYS)
PUMP INTO BAG USING LANSINOH® PUMP.
Compatible with Lansinoh® Signature Pro®, all Smart PumpTM versions, and Lansinoh® Manual Breast Pump.
- A Open bag by tearing away safety seal and pulling zipper apart.
- B Tilt the pump kit and slide it into the bag. (see figure 1B)
- C Make sure the bottom of the pump kit is level with the white “pump into bag” line on the bag. (see figure 1C)
- D Tug gently on bottom of bag to ensure bag is secure.
- E Repeat as needed for a double pump, then start pumping.
- F To remove, securely hold the bag, gently tilt the pump kit and slide o bag. Do not pull the bag straight down. (see figure 1F)
- G Remove air before sealing bag. (see figure 1G)
PUMP INTO BAG USING MOST STANDARD SIZE PUMPS WITH LANSINOH® PUMP ADAPTER.

Clean the adapter
Before first use
- Wash and dry hands with soap and water before handling the adapter.
- Carefully place adapter in boiling water to sanitize. Boil for 5 minutes.
- Place on a clean towel to dry. Dry completely before use.
After use
- Disassemble adapter from pump.
- Hand wash the adapter using warm soapy water. Top rack dishwasher safe.
- Place on a clean towel to dry. Dry completely before use.
- B Screw pump adapter into breast pump flange body, making sure it is secure. (see figure 2B)
- C Open bag by tearing away safety seal and pulling zipper apart.
- D Tilt the adapter and slide it into the bag. (see figure 2D)
- E Make sure the bottom of the adapter is level with the white “pump into bag” line on the bag. (see figure 2E)
- F Tug gently on bottom of bag to ensure bag is secure.
- G Repeat as needed for a double pump, then start pumping.
- H To remove, do not pull the bag straight down. Securely hold the bag. Gently tilt adapter as you remove. (see figure 2H)
- I Remove air before sealing bag. (see figure 2I)

These guidelines are for healthy full-term babies only and may vary for premature or sick babies. Check with your health care provider.

Remove air before sealing.

Lay bag flat to freeze. To prevent sticking, separate bags with paper towels until frozen.
TO THAW
- Place sealed bag in warm tap water or in a clean, empty container
Caution: Do not put in boiling water or on stovetop.
Caution: Do not microwave.

It is normal for milk to separate. Massage bag to recombine.
Transfer milk into desired feeding container. -
Do not reuse bag. Dispose of used plastic bag safely.
