Instructions for Use
Outdoor cooker with propane-butane burner is suitable for outdoor use only. Equipped with space for CP250 cartridge (220g) – the cartridge is not part of the delivery. The package includes an adapter for connecting gas cylinders, which is connected by screwing onto the cooker valve.
Warning: When connecting a gas cylinder other than the CP250 cartridge type, it is necessary to use a hose including a control valve (not included), if the gas cylinder is not equipped with its own valve (e.g. common 2kg cylinders), it is necessary to use the appropriate pressure relief valve. All connected gasses must meet the requirements for EN 417.
The outdoor cooker uses piezo ignition and gas flow control for convenient and fast use. The all-metal construction of the device ensures maximum durability.

Conditions for Operation of the Equipment

The equipment is designed for tourist purposes, for operation in outdoor environment. The device consumes oxygen during operation and in unventilated or closed rooms the user may be seriously endangered due to lack of oxygen and increased CO2 concentration! The minimum distance between the appliance and other objects must be at least 0.5 m. Do not expose the gas cartridge to temperatures exceeding 50°C or direct sunlight. The appliance is equipped with a pressure relief device, the gas cartridge cannot be connected if the pressure rises, e.g. due to higher temperatures. Check the device regularly, especially before use. Check for leaks, nozzle cleanliness, cleanliness of the piezo igniter and correct functioning of the device.

Before Use

  • Open the cartridge compartment cover.
  • Check the rubber seal on the valve neck.
  • From the top, check the burner and piezo igniter for dirt.

Connecting a Normal Gas Cylinder

  • Open the cover for the gas cartridge.
  • Make sure the control valve is closed (close by turning fully to the right).
  • Connect the included adapter by screwing it onto the cartridge connection valve.
  • Pull the hose (not included) through the hole, attach it to the adapter and secure it with the clip (not included).
  • The hose must be fitted with a regulating valve (not included). Make sure that the gas container is fitted with a valve to close the gas supply, or it must be fitted with a pressure relief valve (not included).
  • Connect the other end of the hose/regulating valve to the gas container.
  • Make sure all parts are connected correctly.
  • It is now advisable to perform a leak test using soapy water.

Igniting and Extinguishing the Device

  • Turn the control valve to the left to release the throttle, in the extreme position the throttle will ignite (click).
  • The burning intensity can be adjusted by closing (right) or opening (left) the valve using the control knob. The burner is extinguished by closing the valve completely using the control knob (turn it to the right to the stop). Do not manipulate the appliance while the gas is burning.
  • When switching off, always make sure that the flame is really out!

Disconnecting and Replacing the Cartridge

  • Close the valve with the control knob and let the device cool down.
  • The cartridge is enabled by means of the lever, next to the controller, in the UNLOCK position.
  • Remove the cartridge and replace with a new one if necessary, according to the instructions “Connecting the gas cartridge“.
  • The gas cartridge must only be replaced outdoors, away from any source of ignition/ignition and out of reach of other persons.

Cooking and Heating Food

  • The equipment must be placed on a level surface.
  • After lighting, a pan/pot (max. diameter 20 cm) can be placed on the grate.
  • The appliance should always remain clean, do not overfill the pot! (risk of fire extinguishing and clogging the burner of the appliance).

Maintenance

Always maintain the equipment at regular intervals and in cases of heavy soiling. Allow the equipment to cool down. After disconnecting the cartridge, make sure that the valve is not contaminated and check the seals. The valve should also be checked regularly and protected from dirt. The piezo ignition coil can be cleaned with a metal brush. The outside and the cartridge compartment cover can be washed with a damp cloth. Always allow the device to dry thoroughly after washing.

Troubleshooting

The gas cartridge cannot be connected.
If the cartridge is too hot and cannot be connected to the device due to high pressure, cool it down and then try to connect it again. Check and, if necessary, clean the connection valve with a dry cloth.

The burner cannot be lit.
Check the cartridge fill level (no movement of the cartridge contents when shaken after removal). Attention, as the cartridge temperature decreases and the amount of gas decreases, the pressure decreases, and the performance of the device decreases proportionally.
If the burner nozzles are clogged (and cannot be cleaned) or if the valve (ignition) malfunctions, contact a professional service. If the piezo igniter electrode is clogged or wet, clean it and allow it to dry.
If the piezo igniter electrode is bent, push it back to the burner.

Storage

The appliance and the gas cartridge must be stored separately. Store the appliance in a closed, well-ventilated area free of aggressive substances, at a temperature of up to 10°C and a relative humidity of up to 80%. Store the cartridge in a cool, dry place.

Disposal

If you decide to dispose of your old appliance, take it to the designated place. Do not force open the cartridge or throw it into a fire.

Safety Requirements

  • The device may only be operated by an adult over 18 years of age in accordance with these instructions! The operator must also observe the general fire safety regulations during operation!
  • The device must be stored out of the reach of children!
  • Do not use the device if it is leaking, damaged or if it is not working properly!
  • If you want to check your appliance for leaks, do it outdoors. Do not check for leaks with an open flame, use soapy water!
  • The accessible parts of the device near the burner are very hot during and immediately after operation!
  • Keep small children away from the appliance!
  • During operation, the device must be placed on a non-flammable base and kept under supervision!
  • For fire safety reasons, the device must be located at least 50 cm away from combustible materials! Carry out the leakage check in a well-ventilated room or outdoors, away from sources of ignition/ignition and out of reach of other persons!
  • Protect the gas cartridge from sunlight!
  • It is forbidden to use the appliance in rooms and areas below ground level!
  • For safety reasons, do not modify parts of the device!
  • Do not use the device in strong winds!
  • Do not move the device when it is in operation!
  • Do not connect a gas source to the appliance other than that specified in the instructions!
  • Do not use the appliance in an environment where ethereal, paints, adhesives, etc. are used!

Warning: The device consumes oxygen during operation and in an unventilated room, (caravan, tent, hut, boat, etc.) the user can be seriously endangered due to lack of oxygen and increased CO2 concentration! It is always necessary to ventilate. A sufficient supply of combustion air must be ensured and any dangerous accumulation of unburnt fuel near the cooker must be prevented! Butane is physically heavier than air and will sink and accumulate near the ground in the event of spontaneous leakage due to leaks.
