Instructions for use
READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING YOUR APPLIANCE AND KEEP THEM FOR LATER REFERENCE AS NEEDED.
- This appliance is intended for domestic use only. Any other use (commercial, professional, etc.) is not permitted .
- Use this appliance for cooking purposes only.
- Before plugging in your appliance, ensure that the electrical voltage in your home is suitable for that indicated on the appliance’s sign plate.
- Plug the appliance into an easily accessible power outlet.
- This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cable out of the reach of children .
- Persons whose physical, sensory or mental capabilities are impaired or whose experience or knowledge is insufficient may use the appliance, provided they are supervised or instructed on how to use it safely, and provided they understand the potential dangers of doing so.
- Children should not use the appliance as a toy.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- WARNING: Risk of injury if misused.
- Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is plugged in.
- Do not use this appliance outdoors and always store it in a dry location.
- Always unplug the appliance from the outlet when not in use, before inserting or removing whisks or kneaders and before cleaning.
- When unplugging the power cord, always pull it out by the plug, never the cord itself.
- Never immerse the appliance, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Turn off and unplug the appliance before leaving it unattended and before assembling, disassembling and cleaning it.
- Turn off and unplug the appliance before changing accessories or moving any parts while it is in use. .
- Do not use this appliance:
- if the plug or power cord are damaged,
- in the event of a malfunction,
- if the appliance has been damaged in any way,
- if it fell,
- if the motor unit fell into water.
- If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by your dealer, its customer service department or a duly qualified person in a similar role in order to prevent risk.
- Do not handle the appliance or the plug with wet hands.
- Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or worktop, and do not allow it to come into contact ith hot surfaces.
- Do not place or use this appliance near any heat source (hob, heater, etc.).
- Never remove the whisks and kneaders when the appliance is in operation.
- Only use the accessories recommended and provided by your dealer. Using other accessories (not recommended) with this appliance may be dangerous for users and may damage the appliance. Do not insert anything into the ventilation openings on the motor unit.
- Never use a kneader and a whisk at the same time.
- WARNING: This appliance is not designed to be controlled by an external timer or discrete remote Control system.
- WARNING: Keep away from the moving parts. To avoid accidents, keep hands, hair, clothing, spatulas and other kitchen utensils away from moving parts to prevent personal injury or damage to the appliance.
- You can only use a spatula when the appliance is stationary.
- For instructions on using the accessories and speed settings, refer to the “Use” section.
- For instructions on cleaning and maintaining this appliance, refer to the corresponding section at the end of this manual.
- This appliance cannot operate continuously, it is not a professional appliance. You must respect operating breaks. Otherwise you could damage the motor.
- Do not operate this appliance continuously for more than 1 minute at maximum power with the accessories. Take a break of at least 30 minutes before using the appliance again.

Before initial use
Before first use, clean all of the accessories with hot soapy water. The surfaces should then be rinsed with clean water and dried using a soft cloth.

Select the desired accessories by referring to the table below:

Check that the speed selector switch is in the “O” (off} position and that the appliance is disconnected.

For the kneading hooks, assemble the accessories on the motor unit by first inserting the coded pins (Figure A) into the insertion openings (Figures B1 and B2) of the motor unit. 1f you use 2 accessories. make sure they are identical.

Unwind the power cord out and insert the plug into a wall socket.

Turn the speed controller to position 1 to start the appliance. Always start by mixing at low speed, then gradually increase to the speed recommended in the recipe. ****

To use the “Turbo” function (maximum speed), hold down the button on the side.
CAUTION: the “Turbo” function cannot be used alone and should only be activated after first selecting a speed. ****- Do not use the mixer for more than 1 minute under the most extreme conditions (maximum power and hard ingredients such as carrots, nuts, etc.). Take a break of at least 30 minutes before using the appliance again.

When you have finished, turn the speed controller to the “O” (off} position, then unplug the appliance. ****

To remove the accessories, hold the accessories with one hand and press the release button. If necessary, remove food stuck to the accessories with a wooden or plastic spatula.
Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING:
- Before cleaning your mixer, disconnect it from the power socket and wait until the motor unit has cooled down sufficiently before storing it.
- Never immerse the motor unit, power cord or plug in water or any other liquid.
- Wipe the body of the appliance with a soft, dry cloth. Make sure water never gets inside the motor unit through the air vents.
- Accessories can be washed in the dishwasher. You can also clean them with a soft sponge, hot water and dishwashing liquid. Rinse them with clean water and then dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
- Remove food residue on the power cord with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
- Never use abrasive cleaning products or scouring pads for cleaning.
