Initial operation

  1. Plug the USB cable into a USB power supply unit (5V/1A) and the USB-C plug into the USB-C socket of your vat-clean up®.

  2. Then plug the power supply into a mains socket.
    • The vice-clean up® is charged in approx. 2 hours and ready for operation for approx. 1.5 hours
    ! CAUTION: Operation is not possible during the charging process.

    Operation with the brush attachment nozzle

  3. Insert the brush attachment nozzle into the base attachment of the vat-clean up®.

  4. Press button 1 for at least 2 seconds and the vacuum motor starts at the strongest suction level (oxo).
    • The UV light with 450nm starts automatically with an antimicrobial effect
    LED 1 and LED 2 (oxo) light up
    LED 3 lights up
    • Take the previously well-dried hearing aid in your hand and move the brush evenly with light pressure over all sides of the hearing aid to loosen and vacuum up dried cerumen and dirt

  5. when cleaning is finished, switch off the device by pressing button 1for at least 2 seconds.
    LED 1, LED 2 (oxo) and LED 3 turn off
    Operation with the RIC attachment nozzle

  6. Insert the RIC attachment nozzle into the base attachment of the vat-clean up® and proceed according to points 3 to 5.
    • Take the RIC earpiece with domes or earpiece of your hearing aid in your hand and directly join the cavity of the RIC attach mint nozzle to suck off cerumen and dirt  from the openings. If residue remains on the hearing aid, briefly spray cleaning spray and repeat procedure

  7. Insert the tube attachment nozzle into the base attachment of the vat-clean up® and proceed according to points 3. to 5.
    • Guide the tip of the tube attachment nozzle to the dirty mini openings of your hearing aids, such as the receiver, micro phone, ventilation hole (vent), to suck off cerumen and dirt from the openings. If any residue remains on the hearing aid, briefly spray on cleaning spray and repeat the process

Maintenance and operation

To clean your vat-clean up® we recommend wiping it with damp cleaning cloths. Unscrew the basic attachment with the brush attachment nozzle, RIC attachment nozzle or tube attachment nozzle after use and clean them in an ultrasonic bath (e.g. u-sonic 2). Then dry well under a drying cap (e.g. dry-cap up 3®). The filter in the base attachment  should be replaced depending on the degree of contamination. Please also observe the care and operating instructions of your hearing aids. The vat-clean up® is very energy- saving. The lithium-ion battery only needs to be recharged when it is empty (see Initial operation) LED 1 lights up red. Your vat-clean up® has 3 suction levels (oxo / oxo /o) with different strengths. By briefly pressing the key, you can switch between the suction levels in operation as required.

! Warnings

Avoid contact with water! The vat-clean up® must not be operated near wash basins or similar! Avoid mechanical stress due to impact and falling! The vat- clean up® must  not be operated near fire or easily combustible objects! In case of malfunctions, take the device to the dealer! Do not disassemble the unit! Children must be supervised to  ensure that they do not use the device as a toy! This device is not intended to be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience  and/or knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the device by a person responsible for their safety!

DISPOSAL

This electronic product and the installed lithium-ion battery must be disposed of exclusively in accordance with the locally applicable regulations! This device has the WEEE  reg. no. DE 47525015 and is accepted as electronic waste at the designated drop-off points. Do not dispose of with household waste!
