Installation
Included with the appliance
After unpacking all parts, check for any damage in transit and completeness of the delivery.
Checking the units
- Check whether the fitted unit is level and has sufficient load-bearing capacity.
Preparing the units
Requirement
The unit is suitable for the installation.
- For the 80 cm appliance dimension: Establish a cut-out in the worktop. The angle between the cut surface and the worktop must be 90°.
- For the 90 cm appliance dimension: Establish a cut-out in the worktop. The angle between the cut surface and the worktop must be 90°.
- Ensure that the worktop has sufficient load-bearing capacity and stability. Use a heat- and humidity-resistant reinforcing material for any substructure.
- Ensure that the fitted unit is still stable after the cut-outs have been made.
- Remove any shavings.
- Depending on the installation position, remove the back panel of the fitted unit.
Preparing the rails
- In each case, slide a short rail into a long shelf.
- In each case, screw in the rails loosely using two screws. There are various screw positions depending on the cabinet width (90 cm/100 cm/120 cm).
Installing the rails
- Place the prepared rails so that they are flush in the cut-out and push them apart .
- Installation situation A: Screw in the left- and righthand rails.
- Installation situation B: From the rear edge of the cut-out, measure 125 mm to the front and screw in the left- and right-hand rails .
- Installation situation C: From the rear edge of the cut-out, measure 125 mm to the front and screw in the left- and right-hand rails .
- Screw on the rails.
Installing the cover strip
- Screw in the 2 brackets on the rails.
- Put the cover strip in place and tighten the screws once again so that the cover strip is lying flush with the worktop.
- Stick the 2 sealing strips onto the gap between the cover strip and the worktop.
