Connect your Amazon Fire TV Stick Lite
Connect one end of the USB cable into your Fire TV Stick Lite and the other end into the power adapter. Plug your Fire TV Stick Lite into the HDMI port on your TV, then plug the power adapter into a nearby outlet. Turn on your TV, then select the appropriate HDMI input.
Use the included HDMI extender to improve wifi and remote performance, or if you have trouble fitting your Fire TV Stick Lite into an HDMI port on your TV.
Power up your Alexa Voice Remote Lite
Insert included AAA batteries
Remove the battery door and insert the batteries into your Alexa Voice Remote Lite.
Complete the on screen set up
Using your Alexa Voice Remote Lite, follow the onscreen instructions to choose your language, select your WIFI network, and register your device.
Note
If your wifi network is password protected, have your WIFI network password
handy to connect your Fire TV Stick Lite to the internet. If your network is
hidden, select the Join Other Network tile from the list. If required, enter
your network password using the on-screen keyboard.
WIFI tips and troubleshooting
- For best WIFI performance, use the 5 GHz band on your wireless router if available.
- If you see a lock icon, your WIFI network requires a password, so make sure you have it available.
- If you need help finding your WIFI password, go to www.amazon.com/wifi.
- Ensure your internet is working properly.
- Restarting your router and modem will solve most WIFI network issues.
- Do not place your wireless router or Fire TV Stick Lite in a cabinet, as it may impact WIFI signal strength.
- Some WIFI issues may be improved by connecting the included HDMI extender.
Having trouble with your remote?
Unplug your Fire TV device from the power cord or adapter, then plug it back
in. Wait for the home screen to appear. Remove and reinsert the remote’s
batteries. The remote should automatically pair with your device. If your
remote isn’t discovered, press and hold the Home@ button for 10 seconds to
pair your remote.

Battery Safety
This product contains alkaline batteries. The remote requires batteries for use. Only use new 1 SV alkaline or 1.2 NiMH rechargeable AAA-sized batteries. Never mix old and new batteries. Keep all of the batteries out of the reach of children. Do not open, disassemble, puncture, cut, bend, shred or heat the batteries and do not allow metal objects to touch the battery terminals on the remote as they can become hot and cause burns. Remove all batteries if they are worn out or before storing your remote for an extended period of time. Dispose of all batteries in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and do not dispose of batteries by throwing them into a fire. If any batteries begin to leak, take steps to prevent the fluid from coming into direct contact with skin or clothes as the fluid could be corrosive and may be toxic. Remove the batteries and clean the battery compartment in accordance with the battery manufacturer’s recommendations.
Maintaining Your Alexa Voice Remote Lite
Do not use your Alexa Voice Remote Lite or accessories collectively referred to as device or devices near sinks or other wet locations. Take care not to spill any food or liquid on your devices and do not put any object filled with a liquid, such as a vase, on or near your devices. If your Alexa Voice Remote Lite does get wet, carefully unplug all cables without getting your hands wet and wait for the device to dry completely before plugging it in again. If your Fire TV Stick Lite does get wet, use rubber gloves to remove the batteries and wait for the remote to dry completely before re-inserting the batteries. Do not attempt to dry your devices with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or hair dryer Do not drop, throw, disassemble, crush, bend, puncture, or paint your Fire TV Stick Lite Only handle your devices with clean hands. Clean your devices only with a soft cloth that is slightly damp with water and a touch of rubbing alcohol; be careful not to wipe it with anything abrasive or to use any harsh chemicals. If your device or adapter gets wet, carefully unplug all cables without getting your hands wet and wait for the device and adapter to dry completely before plugging them in again. Do not attempt to dry your device or adapter with an external heat source, such as a microwave oven or a hair dryer. If the device or adapter appear damaged, discontinue use immediately. Use only accessories supplied with the device to power your device. To avoid risk of electric shock, do not touch your device or any wires connected to your device during a lightning storm.
Other Safety Considerations
A small percentage of people may be susceptible to blackouts or seizures (even
if they have never had one before) when exposed to flashing lights or light
patterns, such as when watching video or playing games. If you have
