IMPORTANT NOTE:
Read the manual carefully before connecting your Smart kit(Wireless module).
Make sure to save this manual for future reference. Illustrations in this
manual are for explanatory purposes. The actual shape shall prevail.

DOWNLOAD AND MSmartHome APP
On an app market (Google Play Store, Apple App Store), search for “MSmartHome” and find the MSmartHome app. Download and install it on your phone, You can also download the app by scanning the QR code below.
PREPARATION
- Please ensure your mobile device is connected to Wi-Fi/Wireless router. Also, the Wi-Fi/Wireless router has already connected to the Internet before doing user registration and network configuration.
- Make sure your mobile device has already been connected to the Wi-Fi/Wireless network which you want to use. Also, you need to forget other irrelevant
Wi-Fi/Wireless network in case it influences your configuration process.
NETWORK CONFIGURATION
Cautions
- It is necessary to forget any other network and make sure the Android or iOS device just connects to the Wi-Fi/Wireless network you want to configure.
- Make sure the Android or iOS device’s Wi-Fi/Wireless function works well and can be connected back to your original Wi-Fi/Wireless network automatically.
Kindly reminder:
The user must finish all the steps in 8 minutes after powering on AC,
otherwise, you need to power on it again.
Register and log in
Open the MSmartHome app, and create a new account to start ( you can also
register through a third-party account). If you already had an existing
account, use the account to log in.
Connect your devices to MSmartHome
- Please make sure your mobile phone is connected to Wi-Fi. If not, go to Settings and turn on the wireless connection, select and connect to a Wi-Fi. Also please turn on the Bluetooth on your phone. If not, go to Settings and turn it on.
- Please power on your devices.
- Open MSmartHome app on your phone.
- If a message of “Smart devices discovered nearby” appears, click to add.
- If no message appears, select “+” on the page and select your device in the list of nearby devices available. If your device is not listed, please add your device manually by the device category [Air Conditioner] and device model [Window AC/Portable AC].
- Connect your device to Wi-Fi according to the instructions on app. If the connection fails, please follow the instructions provided by the app to continue with the operation.
NOTE:
- Make sure your devices are powered on.
- Keep your mobile phone close enough to your device when you are connecting the network to your device.
- Connect your mobile phone to the wireless network at home, and make sure you know the password of the Wi-Fi.
- Check if your router supports the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi band and turn it on. If you are not sure whether the router supports the 2.4 GHz band, please contact the router manufacturer.
- The device cannot connect to Wi-Fi requires authentication, and usually appears in public areas such as hotels, restaurants, etc. Please connect to a Wi-Fi that does not require authentication.
- It is recommended to use a Wi-Fi name that only contains letters and numbers. If your Wi-Fi name contains special characters, please modify it in the router.
- Turn off the WLAN+ (Android) or WLAN Assistant (iOS) function of your mobile phone when connecting the network to your devices.
- In the case that your device connected to Wi-Fi before but needs to reconnect, please click “+” on the app’s Home page, and add your device again by the device category and model according to the instructions on the app.
HOW TO USE THE APP
Please ensure both your mobile device and air conditioner are connected to the Internet before using the app to control the air conditioner via the internet, please follow the next steps:
- Click “Login”
- Choose the Air Conditioner
- Thus, the user can control the air conditioners on/off status, operation mode, temperature, fan speed, and so on.
NOTE:
Not all the function of the APP is available on the air conditioner.
For example:
ECO, Turbo, Swing function, please check the user manual to find more
information.
SPECIAL FUNCTIONS
Including:
Schedule, Sleep curve, Energy Monitor, and Check.
NOTE:
Not all the units can use these special functions on the APP. Thus, if the air
conditioner does not support the above function, the function will be hidden
from the function list.
Schedule
Weekly, users can make an appointment to turn on or off AC at a specific time.
Users also can choose circulation to keep the AC under schedule control every
week.
Sleep Curve
User can customize their own comfortable sleep by setting a target
temperature.
Energy Monitor
Users can simply monitor the electricity consumption of the AC unit by
checking the chart and history record.
Check
Users can simply check the AC running status with this function. When
finishing this procedure, it can display normal items, abnormal items, and
detailed information.
APP DECLARATION
Applicable system: IOS, Android.
- APP can not support the latest software version of Android and IOS system.
- Due to the special situation that may have occurred, we explicitly claim below: Not all of the Android and IOS systems are compatible with APP. We will not be responsible for any issue as a result of the incompatibility.
Wireless safety strategy
Smart kit only supports WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption and no encryption. WPA-
PSK/WPA2-PSK encryption is recommended.
Cautions
- Due to different network situations, the control process may return to time-out sometimes. If this situation occurs, the display between the board and the App may not be the same, please do not feel confused.
- Smart Phone camera needs to be 5 million pixels or above to make sure scans the QR code well.
- Due to different network situations, sometimes, request time-out could happen, thus, it is necessary to do network configuration again.
- The APP system is subject to update without prior notice for product function improvement. The actual network configuration process may be slightly different from the manual, but the actual process shall prevail.
