**INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
“BALUU” HAMMOCK

**

WARNING: *) Not recommended for children weighing more than 9 kg.
WARNING – Never leave the child unsupervised in the reclining hammock.
WARNING – It is dangerous to place the reclining hammock on a raised surface.
WARNING – Always use the safety belt.
WARNING – Never use the activity bar to carry the hammock.
WARNING – This hammock is not designed for the child to sleep in for prolonged periods of time.
This product is not a substitute for a cot or bed. If the child needs to sleep he should be placed in a suitable cot or bed.
WARNING: Do not use the hammock if any part is broken, torn or missing.
WARNING: Never use accessories that have not been approved by JANE, SA.
WARNING: Do not use the hammock when your child can sit up by himself.

UNFOLDING THE ROCKER AND RAISING THE BACKREST POSITION (1,2,3) (Always

take the baby out of the rocker first)

Raise the backrest to the required position (1), (2), (3).
Each click signals a different position. Check it is fully stable before placing the child in the rocker.

LOWERING THE BACKREST POSITION (3,2,1) (Always take the baby out of the

rocker first) 

To unlock the height adjustment device, follow the steps below simultaneously: Without letting go of the backrest, with one hand raise it slightly to unlock it (1) and with the other hand simultaneously press the small red button (2), pulling the grey unlocking lever upwards (3)and start to lower the backrest (4).
When the backrest is in the required position, first release the red button, then let go of the grey lever making sure that it is in the horizontal locking position and before letting go of the backrest make sure that it is correctly locked into place.
Check the backrest is locked into each position before placing the baby in the rocker.

ATTACHING THE ACTIVITY BAR

The activity bar must only be attached by an adult. Hold the bar with both hands, press gently to separate the ends and slot the internal grooves into the required position that will not disturb the baby. Remove the activity bar when the baby can sit up unaided.

FOLDING THE ROCKER (always take the baby out first)

To fold the rocker up, repeat the same steps in the previous section to set the rocker to the lowest position. In this position keep the red button (2) pressed down and the grey lever (3) raised, and with the other hand release the folding lock by pressing the second red button (4) down fully, this will enable you to continue lowering the backrest to the fully folded position.

REMOVING THE UPHOLSTERY

With the rocker in a raised position, release the 4 lower fasteners and take the upholstery off in an upwards direction.

MAINTAINING
Cleaning

Clean the plastic parts with a damp cloth, soap and water.
Washing the cover
Remove the cover, wash it by hand and leave it to dry at room temperature. To install the cover again, do the same as before, but in reverse order.
