FAQs
How do I assemble my shower chair?****
The shower chair is very easy to assemble. Simply remove the packaging and place the back support on the seat. The back support will snap into place. Next, place the legs into the holes on the bottom of the seat. Lastly, adjust the height of the legs to your desired height.
How do I clean my shower chair?****
To clean your shower chair, wipe it down with mild soap and water. DO NOT submerge your shower chair in water or leave it in standing water.
Where can I purchase replacement parts for my shower chair?****
Replacement parts can be purchased directly from Vaunn Medical at www.vaunnmedical.com/parts or by calling 1-800-933-0353 ext. 2.
What is the maximum weight capacity of this product?****
The maximum weight capacity of this product is 350 lbs (without back support) and 400 lbs (with back support).
Why does my shower chair wobble when I sit on it?****
If your shower chair is wobbly, ensure that all four feet are in contact with a smooth, hard surface and that you are not standing on the chair. If you are using your shower chair on a carpeted surface, we recommend placing a towel or mat underneath it to prevent slippage.
My husband does not have good use of his right arm. Will the chair be steady if he puts pressure on the left arm to stand and sit?****
No idea. We bought this for my mother to use in the shower, but she is able to use both hands to put equal force on the armrests. It is a sturdy chair but probably would tip without equal pressure.
I have a narrow tub. Is the width 15 in. from the outside of each of the legs? Ruined a chair because the feet were on an angle at the bottom sides of the tub?****
The width of the shower chair is approximately 17″ – if measured from the outside of the legs. You may want to check out the shower stool instead which has a width of approximately 12.5″. This stool will probably better suit your needs. For your convenience, the following is the Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MRJXNSO.

Usually medical equipment, no. But check your order page, and go through the process. I will let you know then if you can. Such as vitamins told me no when the wrong ones were sent and I tried to return them.
Shower floors are generally not flat, but are made to allow water to drain. Are the legs adjustable to keep the chair from rocking?****
Yes, they are. But this chair isn’t safe. The back broke totally off when my 90-year-old mom was sitting on it. In the shower. She only weighs 108 pounds.
