  • Problem: My phone cannot locate the WiFi signal.
Answer: First check to make sure that the OBD reader is powering on. If ll is, restart your phone and try again. Sometimes phones can become glllchy or buggy and this will normally resolve the issue.

  • Problem: The red power light is not illuminating when I plug the OBD reader in!
Answer: In most cases this means the fuse controlling the vehicles OBD porl Is blown and needs lo be replaced. The OBD port will normally either have lls own fuse OR be on a fuse with accessories such as cigarette lighters & wipers.

  • Problem: I tell the app to clear the check engine light but the light remains on.
Answer: First try clearing it with the vehicle fully running and if that fails, also lry clearing it with lhe vehicle in ACC mode but not running. NOTE: some codes are “instant” meaning as soon as they are cleared, if the problem causing them is nol fixed, lhe light will come back on immediately. In such cases you will never see lhe light turn off.

  • Problem: The OBD reader is not reading my ABS, SRS, VSC, Oil Change or Maintenance lights. What gives?
Answer: Being an OBDII reader it can only read and clear your check engine light. It cannot assist in reading or clearing lights related to any other vehicle system. For these lights you will need to use a different tool or in some cases take the vehicle to a repair shop.
