4 MODES

MODE 1 “INDEPENDENT MODE” (LOCOMOTIVE)

1. Slide the switch on the backside of the remote control to the ON position (as shown in the image). The pairing indicator (red LED) on the remote control will start blinking.
2. Slide the switch on the bottom of the Locomotive to the “I” location.
3. When paired successfully, the pairing indicator (red LED) on the remote control will stop blinking and remain solid ON. The locomotive is now ready for play.
   • NOTE: If the LED continues to blink and does not change to solid ON, the pairing has not been completed. Start over and repeat steps 1-2.
4. If no activity is detected after 5 minutes, the Locomotive will turn OFF. Slide switch to OFF (“O”) then back to Independent Mode (“I”) to turn Locomotive back ON.

MODE 1 “INDEPENDENT MODE” (RAILWAY CAR)

1. Slide the switch on the bottom of the Railway Car to the “I” location.
2. Watch it roam, spin, and shake freely! Railway Car(s) will sense the surroundings to help prevent hitting objects.
   • NOTE: The guest is not able to control the Railway Car(s) with remote control.
3. If no activity is detected after 5 minutes, the Railway Car will turn OFF. Slide switch to OFF (“O”) then back to Independent Mode (“I”) to turn Railway Car back ON.

MODE 2 “FOLLOW ME MODE”

1. Slide the switch on the backside of the remote control to the ON position (as shown in the image). The pairing indicator (red LED) on the remote control will start blinking.
2. Next, slide the switch on the bottom of the Locomotive to the “II” location.
3. When paired successfully, the pairing indicator (red LED) on the remote control will stop blinking and remain solid ON.
4. NOTE: If the LED continues to blink and does not change to solid ON, the pairing has not been completed. Start over and repeat steps 1-2.
5. Slide the switch on the bottom of the Railway Car(s) to the “II” location.
6. Place Railway Car(s) directly behind the Locomotive to have them “connect”.
   • NOTE: For an optimal connection, place Railway Car(s) 1.5” – 2.0” apart.
7. Move the Locomotive using the directional joysticks on the remote control. The Railway Car(s) should follow behind!
   • NOTE: Locomotive cannot move backward when it is in “Follow Me Mode”.
   • NOTE: If the Railway Car(s) lose connection in “Follow Me Mode”, pick up Railway Car and place it behind Locomotive or other Railway Car(s) to reconnect.
8. If no activity is detected after 5 minutes, the Locomotive and Railway Car(s) will turn OFF. Slide switches to OFF (“O”) then back to Independent Mode (“I”) again to turn them back ON.

REMOTE CONTROL

“TRY ME MODE”

1. Press the button on the front of the side of the Locomotive to activate sounds.
2. Press the button on the front of the Railway Car(s) to activate sounds.
3. Sounds will cycle through randomly.
