Wire installation

Proper installation will ensure accurate performance of the mower. Lay the wire in a counterclockwise direction – Leave slack of 30 cm at the beginning of wire – Use the RoboRuler to set the correct distances from the wire to the lawn edge – Use a peg approx. every 2m

Flowerbeds, ponds and other delicate obstacles

Soft obstacles should be protected by the wire and are called ‘islands’. Wires reaching the island must not be crossed – Use the same pegs for the two wires – Pools or ponds require a 1.2 m distance – Exclude islands that are closer than 1 m from the edge.

Areas that are between 0.8-2 meters wide require a dedicated installation to assure that the mower can follow the wires through the narrow area.

Separated Zone

In separated zones, the mower is unable to follow the perimeter wire to these zones. It must be manually transported to and from the separated zone.
