Read all instructions before using your NINJA® PRECISION TEMPERATURE KETTLE
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, serious injury, death, or damage when using this appliance, follow these basic safety precautions.
- To eliminate a choking hazard for young children, discard all packaging materials immediately upon unpacking.
- This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mentalcapabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. DO NOT force into outlet or try to modify to fit.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children. Do not allow children to play or use the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when used near children.
- To protect against fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, DO NOT immerse cord, plugs, or body of machine in water or other liquid.
- NEVER carry the appliance by the power cord or pull it to disconnect from electrical socket; instead grasp the plug and pull to disconnect.
- A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
- DO NOT use extension cords, external timers or separate remote-control systems with this product. Regularly inspect the power cord.
- DO NOT operate the kettle with a damaged cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact SharkNinja Operating LLC for service.

- DO NOT let the power cord hang over the edge or touch hot surfaces such as the stove.
- NEVER use socket below counter.
- ALWAYS place kettle on base first, then plug cord into outlet.
- To avoid risk of fire, electrical shock, or damage to the unit, DO NOT use unit in an appliance garage or under a wall cabinet.
- Turn off and allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
- DO NOT use kettle with any other base.
- ALWAYS use appliance on a clean, dry, level surface.
- DO NOT place on or near a hot gas, electric or induction burner/hob or in a heated oven.
- DO NOT use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- DO NOT use outdoors.
- To avoid scalding from steam and hot surfaces use the handle. DO NOT touch metal surface or reach across top of spout and opened lid when operating.
- DO NOT use the kettle to store food when not in use.
- DO NOT place kettle in microwave.
- DO NOT drink directly from the kettle. Liquid from the kettle may be very hot.
- DO NOT fill kettle with anything other than water, as other liquids may damage your kettle.
- DO NOT overfill the kettle. Fill water only to the MAX line.
- DO NOT run the appliance without water. If activated without water, allow to cool minimum of 10 minutes before filling.
- Exceeding maximum water level capacity may cause overflow.
- Kettle MUST remain upright when moving or carrying to avoid skin burns and scalding.
- DO NOT place kettle or base in dishwasher.
- DO NOT immerse kettle or base in water.
- DO NOT clean with abrasive cleaners, steel wool pads, or other abrasive materials.
- Allow the appliance to cool before removing any parts and before cleaning.

- Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Remove and discard any packaging material, promotional labels, and tape from the kettle.
- Remove all accessories from the package and read this manual carefully. Please pay particular attention to operational instructions, warnings, and important safeguards to prevent any injury or property damage.
- Press the lid release button to open the lid and fill the kettle with water to MAX 1.7 L (7 cups) line.
- Close the lid by pressing the cool-touch pad until it locks closed.
- Make sure the power base is plugged in, then place the kettle on the base ensuring that it is fully seated.
- Press the BOIL button on the control panel, then press START/STOP to begin the heating process.
- Once the water reaches 212°F, the kettle will beep to indicate that it has finished.
- Lift the kettle off the base and discard the water. Repeat this process one more time to ensure the kettle is clean and ready for use.

NOTE: The temperature accuracy of the kettle is +/- 5°F.

Temperature Display:
Live Temperature Readout: When the kettle is placed on the base, the temperature display will show the currenttemperature of the water inside. Once a preset or +/- button is pressed, theselected temperature will be shown. When a heating cycle is started, the temperature display will show the current temperature of the water to track progress.
NOTE: To change the temperature display from Fahrenheit to Celsius, pressand hold the HOLD TEMP and + buttonsfor 5 seconds. -
Manual Temperature Control:
Manually customize the water temperature using the + and – buttons to increase or decrease by 5°F increments from 105°F to 212°F. -
Hold Temp:
Press to turn on/off the Hold
Temp feature, which holds water at the selected temperature for up to 30 minutes -
START/STOP:
Press to begin a heating cycle. Press again to stop heating.
Automatic Shutoff: The kettle will automatically stop once the selected temperature has been reached.
USING YOUR KETTLE
POWERING ON
To turn on the kettle, unwind the cord from the cord wrap and plug the power cord into the socket. Unwind only the amount of cord necessary to reach the socket. The control panel will automatically turn on once plugged in.
NOTE: The temperature displayed will always return to the temperature last selected when the kettle was in use.
POWERING OFF
The kettle will automatically power off after 5 minutes of inactivity. To manually power off, press and hold the START/STOP button for 3 seconds. To turn on the kettle, press any button on the control panel or lift the kettle off the base.
HEATING WATER
IMPORTANT: Heat only water inside the kettle. Never heat or boil any other liquids. Never steep tea or coffee directly in the kettle.

Press lid release button to open the lid and fill the kettle with fresh water.

Check the desired amount of water by reading the water level gauge or internal markings. The energy consumption of thekettle can be optimised by heating only the minimum amount of water required.
NOTE: The MIN. 0.25 L level measure is inside the kettle. Water marks on the exterior show 0.5 L–1.7 L.
NOTE: Always fill to at least the MIN 0.25 L fill level and do not exceed the MAX 1.7 L fill level.
NOTE: For best results, fill to at least 0.5 L when heating below 160°F. -
Ensure the lid is completely closed and position the kettle securely onto the base. DO NOT open the lid during a heating cycle.

Select your desired temperature on the control panel.
Presets: Beverages (Green, White, Oolong, Coffee, Black, Boil)
Manual: Press the +/- buttons to manually set the temperature in 5°F increments from 105°F to 212°F -
Press START/STOP once to start the heating cycle. The button will illuminate orange, the water window will illuminate,and the display will show the current temperature as it climbs.
NOTE: To change the temperature mid-cycle, press the desired preset or+/- buttons and the display will flash for 5 seconds with the new targettemperature. To cancel the heating cycle at any time, press START/STOP. -
When the water has reached the selected temperature, the kettle will beep and automatically switch off. If Hold Temp is selected, the kettle will continue to hold the temperature for up to 30 minutes.
NOTE: If the kettle is lifted from the base during a heating cycle, this will cancel the cycle.
NOTE: To mute the kettle, press and hold the HOLD TEMP and – buttons for 5 seconds.
HOLD TEMP
Hold Temp is the kettle’s ability to maintain the selected temperature for up
to 30 minutes after a heating cycle. Select Hold Temp any time before,
during,or within 30 seconds of completion of aheating cycle to toggle it on.
Press againto toggle off. While the feature is toggled on, Hold Temp will be
illuminated orangeon the control panel. After 30 minutes of holding the
temperature, the kettle will automatically shut of
NOTE: The HOLD TEMP will only activate after the water has reached the target temperature. If HOLD TEMP is pressed before a heating cycle, you must first start a heating cycle.
NOTE: If 212°F/BOIL is selected, the temperature will hold at 200°F for up to 30 minutes
BOIL DRY PROTECTION
If the kettle has insufficient water when starting a heating cycle, the kettle
will automatically switch off to protectfrom overheating and causing damage.
The kettle will beep and the temperature display will read “dry” to signify
that thekettle has boiled dry. Allow the kettle to cool for at least 10
minutes before refilling.

NOTE: This table includes recommended guidelines. The ideal temperature ranges may vary according to personal preference. Experiment with your favorite tea/coffe and adjust the temperatures and steep times to suit personal taste.
NOTE: DO NOT steep coffee or tea directly in the kettle.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Never immerse the kettle body, base, or power cord in water or place in a dishwashe
WARNING: Do not use chemicals or abrasive cleaners internally or externally.
- Unplug the kettle and allow to cool down before cleaning.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior of the kettle and base. Only use nonabrasive cleaning materials.
- The scale filter can be easily removed. Open the lid, then grasp the filter and slide it out by pulling upwards.
- The filter can be cleaned by running under a hot water tap and rubbing with a cloth or brush.
- To replace the filter, slide it back into place at the back of the spout until it snaps in.
DESCALING
Your kettle will not work properly if it is not descaled regularly. Regular
descaling can increase the life of the kettle, allowing it to boil water
faster and with less energy.
Scale is a naturally occurring buildup of mineral deposits caused by
impurities in water, especially hard water. For best performance, descale the
kettle every 4-8 weeks or whenever scale buildup is present inside.
Descaling can be completed with a descaling agent specifically designed for kettles. Follow the directions on the descaling agent package,
OR
- Fill the kettle with equal parts water and white vinegar.
- Let sit for 30 minutes.
- Discard solution and rinse kettle thoroughly with clean water.
- Repeat this process until all deposits are removed.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The power base won’t turn on.
- Make sure the power cord is securely plugged into the socket.
- Insert the power cord into a different socket.
- Reset the circuit breaker if necessary
The kettle is not heating up.
- The overheat control may have tripped. Let the kettle cool down.
- Ensure the kettle is fully seated on the power base.
Hold Temp function is not working.
- The Hold Temp function is not default and needs to be turned on or off by pressing the HOLD TEMP button. When the function is on, the button will be illuminated orange. Hold Temp will only activate when a heating cycle is active. If Hold Temp is pressed before starting a heating cycle, you must press START/STOP to start the heating cycle.
The kettle turns off before reaching the target temperature.
- The kettle may contain too much scale. Refer to the descaling instructions on to descale the kettle.
TEMPERATURE DISPLAY MESSAGES: dry
- There is an insufficient amount of water inside the kettle. Allow the kettle to cool for at least 10 minutes, then add fresh, room temperature water to at least the minimum 0.25 L marking and restart the heating cycle.
- If there is already water filled up to at least the minimum 0.25 L marking, please call Customer Service at 1-877-646-5288.
Er
- If the temperature display shows “Er” and then a number (ex. “Er 01”), contact Customer Service at 1-877-646-5288
ONE (1) YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
The One (1) Year Limited Warranty applies to purchases made from authorized retailers of SharkNinja Operating LLC. Warranty coverage applies to the original owner and to the original product only and is not transferable.
SharkNinja warrants that the unit shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase when it is used under normal household conditions and maintained according to the requirements outlined in the Owner’s Guide, subject to the following conditions and exclusions:
What is covered by this warranty?
- The original unit and/or non-wearable components deemed defective, in SharkNinja’s sole discretion, will be repaired or replaced up to one (1) year from the original purchase date.
- In the event a replacement unit is issued, the warranty coverage ends six (6) months following the receipt date of the replacement unit or the remainder of the existing warranty, whichever is later. SharkNinja reserves the right to replace the unit with one of equal or greater value.
What is not covered by this warranty?
- Normal wear and tear of wearable parts (including the Scale Filter), which require regular maintenance and/or replacement to ensure the proper functioning of your unit, are not covered by this warranty. Replacement parts are available for purchase atninjaaccessories.com.
- Any unit that has been tampered with or used for commercial purposes
- Damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligent handling, failure to perform required maintenance, or damage due to mishandling in transit.
- Consequential and incidental damages.
- Defects caused by repair persons not authorized by SharkNinja. These defects include damages caused in the process of shipping, altering, or repairing the SharkNinja product (or any of its parts) when the repair is performed by a repair person not authorized by SharkNinja.
- Products purchased, used, or operated outside North America.

If your appliance fails to operate properly while in use under normal household conditions within the warranty period, visit ninjakitchen.com for product care and maintenance self-help. Our Customer Service Specialists are also available at 1-877-646-5288 to assist with product support and warranty service options, including the possibility of upgrading to our VIP warranty service options for select product categories.
SharkNinja will cover the cost for the customer to send in the unit to us for repair or replacement. A fee of $20.95 (subject to change) will be charged when SharkNinja ships the repaired or replacement unit.
How to initiate a warranty claim
You must call 1-877-646-5288 to initiate a warranty claim. You will need the receipt as proof of purchase. A Customer Service Specialist will provide you with return and packing instruction information.
How state law applies
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you also may have other rights that vary from state to state. Some states do not permit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
