Crazy Tube Circuits DE1177 Super Conductor Boost
INSTALLATION
Super Conductor features 4 distinct boost circuits in a small pedal format. Based on one-knob wonders of the present and past, these tone accelerators can drive your rig into sonic bliss. Each all-analog circuit has its own sonic signature and features different input/output impedance and output volume boost (dB) so that you can find the one that suits your rig and playing style. We have added tone shaping modifications, individual to each circuit, that you can switch at will.
rm: our own silicon interpretation of the 60s classic germanium treble
booster. Using a unique setup of paralleling 2 low gain silicon transistors
we’ve managed to produce a sound that will convince even a NOS OC44
enthusiast. Its output is slightly saturated with loads of harmonics. Use it
to push an already overdriven amp or add presence and bite to a dark-sounding
setup.
WHITE MODIFIER OG: original frequency response I FAT: add low mids for
fatter sound

Max output gain: +17 dB (OG), +22 dB (FAT)
ep: JFET preamp – gain stage based on the preamp circuit of a tape echo unit of the early 70s. This tone enhancer is known for its magical coloration and the added focus and detail it gives to your sound. Features an internal voltage boost – charge pump to 24V DC, true to the specs of the original unit it was based on.
WHITE MODIFIER OG: original frequency response I FAT: enhanced full frequency boost+ extra output
Specifications: 750 kO input impedance, 47k0 output impedance
Max output gain: +11 dB (OG), +23 dB (FAT)
ma: based on a clean and “transparent” volume booster of the late 70s /
early 80s. This circuit is a “reference” to louder solos. Use it to run long
signal chains with its low output impedance or drive your amp harder into
natural saturation.
INSTRUCTION
BLACK MODIFIER 9V : true the original spec power supply I 18V: internally
boosted power supply for increased headroom and fidelity. Specifications: 6.8
MO input impedance, 600 0 output impedance
Max output gain: +31 dB
mf: based on a late 90s ultra-transparent, high input impedance MOSFET boost. This interpretation doesn’t crackle but still retains the massive clean boost with pristine highs sonic identity of the circuit it was modelled after.
C O 9V: true the original spec power supply I 1 BV: internally boosted
power supply for increased headroom and fidelity. Specifications: 5 MO input
impedance, 1 kO output impedance
Max output gain: +26 dB
Notes:
White modifier operates only on rm and ep circuits, black modifier operates
only on ma and mf circuits. A momentary pop or crackle is perfectly normal
when a modifier changes state. Super Conductor features soft click true bypass
via a high-quality relay.
Power supply: 9V DC center negative, regulated/stabilized. Max current consumption 67mA
Warning: This unit was designed for 9V DC input only. Do not use higher voltage power supply.
Warranty: Super Conductor comes with 5 years warranty from date of
manufacture.
We will provide service/repair at no cost within 5 years from date of
manufacture – buyer is responsible for all shipping costs or customs fees and
taxes that may apply. This warranty excludes damages done due to misuse or
improper handling.
