Charge your doorbell with your phone charger

Please charge your doorbell with a USB compatible phone charger (not provided) and the provided charging cable. The LED indicator near the Micro USB port will glow blue once fully charged.

Supply power to the chime

①Powered by three AA batteries. (Not Included)

Three AA batteries are required to make your indoor chime 100% wire-free. With battery operation, you will be free to place your chime in almost any location indoors  Please notice the proper direction while installing batteries!

②Powered by DC5V Charger.
You can also plug in the provided USB cable and connect the chime to your DC 5V 1A~2A phone charger.
Note: Phone charger is not included in the package.

Set up your doorbell in the ‘CloudEdge’ app

①Download the ‘CloudEdge’ app.
Search ‘CloudEdge’ in the app stores or scan the QR codes below to download the app.

Note:
Please turn on 2 permissions below when you use this app first time.

  1. Allow CloudEdge to access mobile cellular data and wireless LAN, or it will be failed to add camera.
  2. Allow CloudEdge to receive pushed messages, or the phone will not receive an alarm push when motion detection or audible alarm is triggered.
  3. Register account:New users need to register by e-mail, click “Register”, follow the steps to complete the registration of the account, and log in.

②Switch on your doorbell.
Remove the wall mounting bracket and the right side silicone cover to switch on the power for your doorbell. The LED indicator around the doorbell button will flash red  (once per second), indicating it is ready for network setting.1 2MP camera

③Set up your doorbell.
In the ‘CloudEdge’ app, log in or create a user account to log in.
Tap , select ‘Doorbell’, and complete the setup following the in-app instructions.

Tips:

  1. Please operate the setup near your Wi-Fi router.
  2. Make sure your phone is connecting to a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
  3. Make sure the doorbell is turned on, and its indicator LED is flashing red. lf not, press and hold RESET for 5 seconds.
  4. Ensure the Wi-Fi signal is good, and the Wi-Fi password is correct.

④Doorbell indicator explanation.

Live viewing will not trigger device recording.
⑥Playback
If the Micro-SD card is properly installed, you can playback the video clips taken after detected motions or visitor calls. (Live viewing will not trigger device recording).You  can also back up video clips to the cloud, only if you have activated the cloud storage service (Charge after a 7-Days-Free trial).
⑦ PIR and Alarm Notification
Battery camera with PlR sensor is not designed for 7 x 24 all day recording, but aims at pushing alarm message notification to app and record video to Micro SD card when  the PlR sensor detect human body motion, then you can playback the motion videos wherever you are via CloudEdge App.
When PIR is triggered, camera and the following system actions will be triggered:

  1. Alarm Sound in app (please open permission for cloudedge app notification in mobile setting and turn mobile volume on)
  2. Alarm Message Notification (please enable cloudedge app notification in mobile setting)
  3. Alarm snapshot and video recorded on Micro SD card (please make sure the TF Card is inserted)

⑧ Leave voice messages
Maximum 3 voice messages (Max. 10 seconds each) can be pre-recorded into the doorbell, which enables you to quickly respond to your visitors when you are not convenient  to answer the doorbell call.
Steps: Setting –> Voice Message –> Press and hold this icon to record voice messages –> Push doorbell button –> Play the selected voice message in reply to doorbell call

⑨ Share your device
sharing by account searching
Steps: Settings>> Device Share >>Tap on “Add ”>>Tap on “Account” >>Type in account ID>>Confirm Sharing.

Sharing by QR code scanning
The new users can show their QR codes to the administrator, and share device by QR Code scanning.
Find your QR code: Run CloudEdge App >> Tap on “ ” >> >> “User Name”

My QR Code ” >> Let the administrator scan your QR Code

NOTE:

  1. Guide your family members to download and install the CloudEdge App, and register an account prior to device-sharing.
  2. There is no limitation on the number of users sharing one device.
  3. Only the adminstrator got access to the setting menu. Other users can only live view & playback.
  4. All users will receive doorbell calls and alarm notifications.
  5. Many users can access to the doorbell simul -tanously, to live view or playback.

Connect the indoor chime

①Push the reset button.
Push RESET on the chime, and the chime indicator on the left will flash red for 20 seconds, indicating that the chime is in pairing mode.

②Press your doorbell to pair up.
Press the doorbell button to send a pairing signal, and your chime will sound to react, together with the flashing blue LED. Chime pairing is successful.

③Chime settings.

Ringtone selecction.
Click to change ringtone (4 ringtones available).
Volume control button.
Click to control volume:
level 1:110 dB; level 2:100 dB
level 3: 90 dB; level 4: 80 dB
Settings.
Click to enter/quit pairing mode; Press & hold for 5 seconds to restore factory defaults.

Standard Installation

  1. Mark the screw holes.
    Remove the wall mount from your doorbell and use it as a template to mark the location of the two mounting holes on your wall.

  2. lnstall the wall mount.
    Screw the bracket into a wooden stud in the wall with the provided mounting screws.lf installing on stucco, brick, or concrete, drill holes in your wall, then insert the included anchors before driving in the mounting screws.

  3. Mount your doorbell.
    Attach your doorbell to the mounting bracket and then snap the doorbell into place to make sure it reaches the bottom. Secure it with the provided star- shaped security  screw, using the provided screwdriver bit.

Optional Installation – Install at an angle

You can purchase the following angled brackets so as to point your doorbell to a specific view angle.

  1. Corner Mount (Not included 25 to 50 degree angle adjustable

  2. Wedge Mount (Not included)
    8 degree stackable wedge mount unit

Install your smart doorbell

Kindly notice the anti-theft alarm in doorbell settings.
Tamper detection button

Tamper alert on
Once the doorbell is detached from the bracket, a 30-sec alarm will be triggered. Meanwhile, video recording will be activated, and alarm notification will be pushed to the owner’s APP account.
Tamper alert off
The owner can disable the tamper alarm in doorbell settings, and detach the doorbell for battery recharging or maintainance.

TIPS:

Trouble shooting

Q1: Why I failed to set up Wi-Fi for the doorbell?****

– A1: ①.Device works with 2.4GHz Wi-Fi only, but not support 5GHz Wi-Fi. ②.Wi- Fi network is not good, try to keep the camera near the Wi-Fi router when setting up.  ③.The Wi-Fi password is wrong. Please check if there are specia characters in the password, or the network is specially encrypted.

Q2: How do I know if I have 2.4G or 5G wifi?****

– A2: Please check the user manual of your Router or call the network operator for help.

Q3: It has to be on same WiFi to see the camera,or is it over internet from anywhere?****

– A3: You can view the camera from anywhere, if your camera is well connected to the internet.

Q4: Do any of the recordings get saved to the cloud?
Or is it mainly saved in the built-in MicroSD card?****

– A4: It supports MicroSD card recording as well as cloud storage.
– You can activate the cloud storage service in App.

Q5: What happens when the MicroSD is full?****

– A5: When the memory card is full, the camera automatically erase the oldest footage.

Q6: Does it work with Google Home or Alexa?****

– A6: Sorry, this model does not support Google Home or Alexa.

Q7: Why does it lose connection to wifi?****

– A7: Please check the network connection of your phone and the Wi-Fi router.
– If thenetwork signal is not strong, you may need to move your router closer to the device, or invest in an extender.

Q8: Can the motion detection be disabled?****

– A8: Yes, sure. Recording is triggered by detected motions. You can set up the sensitivity or disable motion detection in the setting menu.

Q9: Do we get charger for the batteries?****

– A9: Battery charger is not included. Please charge the batteries with a USB compatible charger(DC5V 1A~2A) for about 8-10 hours.

Q10: Can we have 2 or more doorbells at the same residence?****

– A10: Yes, you can add more than one device at the same residence.
