Safety warnings

This product is equipped with safety features. Nevertheless, read the safety warnings carefully and only use the product as de­ scribed in these instructions to avoid accidental injury or damage.
Keep these instructions for future reference. If you give this product to another person, remember to also include these instructions.

Intended use
The electric cleaning brush is designed for cleaning suitable surfaces and objects.
It is not suitable for personal care or pet grooming.
The product is designed for personal use and is not suitable for commercial purposes.

DANGER to children

  • The product is not a toy!
    Children are not aware of the risks involved when electrical ap­ appliances are handled incorrectly.
    Therefore, keep the product out of the reach of children.

  • Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children. It poses several risks, including the risk of suffocation and injury!

  • Swallowing batteries can be fatal.
    If a battery is swallowed, it can cause severe internal chemical burns and even death within 2 hours. Therefore, keep both new and old batteries and the product out of the reach of chil­ dren. If you think that a battery has been swallowed or has got into the body in any other way, seek medical advice immediately.

WARNING – the risk of injury

  • The rotating heads may throw off dirt particles or cleaning products. Protect your eyes with protective eyewear if necessary!
    Do not use the device to apply bleach or any other dangerous chemicals.

  • While in use, keep the device away from long hair, loose clothing, and similar. These may get caught in the rotating heads.

  • Single­use batteries must not be charged, taken apart, thrown into the fire, or short­circuited.

  • If the battery leaks, avoid contact with skin, eyes, and mucous membranes. If necessary, rinse the affected areas with water and consult a doctor immediately.

CAUTION – material damage

  • The cleaning brush corresponds to protection type IPX5 and is protected from water spray from all directions when the battery compartment is properly closed.
    However, do not immerse the device in water or other liquids. Ensure that no water penetrates the device while the device is being used or cleaned.

  • Do not use the device on sensi­tive surfaces which are not suita­ able to be treated with a clean­ ing brush. The hard bristles on the brush head can scratch or damage sensitive surfaces such as glass, car paint, stainless steel, copper, wood, etc. If in doubt, test the cleaning brush first on an inconspicuous part of the surface you wish to clean.

  • Protect the batteries from excessive heat. Remove the batteries from the product when they are flat or if you do not intend to use the product for a prolonged period.
    This will prevent damage caused by leakage.

  • Always replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix old and new batteries and do not use different types or brands of batteries, or batteries with different capacities.
    When inserting the batteries, ensure correct polarity (+/–).

  • Clean the contacts on the batter­ ies and device as required before insertion. Risk of overheating!

  • Do not use abrasive or caustic products, or hard brushes, etc. for cleaning the device.

Inserting/changing batteries

The batteries need replacing when the heads are only rotating slowly or are not rotating at all. Replace the used batteries with new ones of the same type (see “Technical specifications”).

  1. Unscrew the battery compartment lid.

  2. Remove the battery holder.

  3. Insert the batteries provided into the battery compartment as illustrated, ensuring that the polarity is correct (+/–).

  4. Replace the battery holder in the casing.
    This only works in one direction: Also pay attention to the arrow on the bottom of the battery holder.

  5. Put on the battery compartment cover and screw it as far as it will go.

If in doubt, test the cleaning brush first on an inconspicuous part of the surface you wish to clean.

Changing the heads

  • Pull the previous head straight off the drive axle and then push your desired head straight onto the drive axle.
  • To use the polishing head, pull it over the foam head.

  • The rotating heads may throw off dirt particles or cleaning products.
    Protect your eyes with protective eyewear if necessary!

  • While in use, keep the device away from long hair, loose clothing, and similar. These may get caught in the rotating heads.
    1. Moisten the bristles (or the surface of the foam head or polishing head) and apply a suitable cleaning product, if necessary. Gel or powder cleaning products are better suited to use with the device than thin fluids.
    You can also spray the surface you wish to clean with a spray cleaner, for example.
    2. Place the device on the area that is to be cleaned.
    3. To switch the device on, press the on/off button.
    4. Slowly move the cleaning brush over the surface.
    5. To switch the device off, press the on/off button again.

Cleaning the device

CAUTION – material damage

  • When the battery compartment is properly closed, the device is protected against water splashes. However, do not immerse it in water or other liquids. Ensure that no water gets into the drive axle.
  • Do not use abrasive or caustic products, hard brushes, etc. for cleaning the device.
    1. Clean the heads under warm running water with a mild cleaning product, as illustrated.
    Then rinse them thoroughly with clean water.
    The polishing head can also be directly washed and rinsed in warm water.
    2. Leave the heads and in particular the polishing head to dry completely before storing the device.
    3. Wipe the handle with a slightly dampened cloth.

Disposal

This product, it’s packaging, and the supplied batteries have been manu­ fractured from valuable materials that can be recycled. This reduces the amount of refuse and helps to preserve the environment.
Dispose of the packaging at a recycling point that sorts materials by type. Make use of the local facilities provided for collecting paper, card­ board, and lightweight packaging.

Devices marked with this symbol must not be disposed of along with normal household waste!
You are legally obliged to dispose of old devices separately from household waste. Electronic devices contain hazardous substances and, if stored or disposed of improperly, may cause harm to health and the environment. Information about collection points where old devices can be disposed of free of charge is available from your local authorities.
Single-use batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of along with household refuse!
You are legally obliged to dispose of all flat batteries at a local authority collection point or to return them to a battery retailer.
Tape over the contacts of lithium single­use/rechargeable batteries prior to disposal.
