PARTS&FEATURES
USING YOUR MINI WAFFLE MAKER
Before first use, remove all packaging and clean the unit thoroughly The unit cover is hot when cooking, don’t touch it with bare hands, use the cover handle to lift and lower thecover, or wear oven mitts to protect hands.
When lifting or lowering the unit cover, don’t hover your hand over the cooking surfaces as it’s very hot and may cause injury.
Access the cover handle from the left or right side of the unit.
-
Place the unit on a stable and dry surface. Plug the cord into a power outlet, the indicator light will turn on, showing that the unit is heating up.
-
Once the cooking surfaces reach their optimal cooking temperature, the indicator light will automatically shut off. Now, it’s ready to cook.
-
Carefully lift the cover by the cover handle and spray or brush a small amount of cooking oil on both lower and upper cooking surfaces (if there is any oily ingredient in the recipe, this step can be omitted).
-
Pour the waffle batter onto the lower cooking surface then close the cover.
-
Once the waffle is well cooked, carefully remove it from the cooking surface with a pan spatula (heat-resistant nylon, wooden, or silicone spatula). Do not use a metal spatula as it will scratch the cooking surface.
-
When cooking finished, unplug the unit and allow it to cool before moving and cleaning.
HELPFUL TIPS
NEVER leave the unit unattended while operating. Smoking:
- During first use, the unit may release slight smoking or odor, this is normal with most new appliances. Allow the unit to preheat until smoke and odor no longer exist.
- For healthier waffles, whole grain flour is better than white flour.
- To keep waffles crispy when reheating, always reheat in an oven instead of a microwave. Preheat the oven to 200°F and reheat the waffles on a baking sheet or wire rack.
- You can store the batter in a tightly sealed container and refrigerate. Refrigerated batter will remain fresh for up to two days. Because cold batter will thicken, you may need to add a little milk or water into the batter before cooking.
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
- Always unplug the unit and allow it to cool completely before moving, cleaning, and storing.
- Use a dishcloth with warm water and dishwashing detergent to clean the unit.
- Do not use the dishwasher to clean the unit.
- Do not submerge the unit in water or any other liquids.
- Do not use any abrasive cleaning agent to clean the unit.
- In order to keep the unit in pristine working order, thoroughly clean it after each use.
TROUBLESHOOTING

The indicator light on the unit keeps shutting off. This is normal. During the cooking process, the built-in heating element will automatically turn on/off to regulate the temperature and ensure that the cooking surfaces don’t get too hot or cold, and the indicator light will turn on/off accordingly.
-
How do I know when the unit is heated and ready to use? When the unit reaches its optimal temperature, the indicator light shuts off, which means it’s ready for cooking.
-
There is no On/Off Button, how do I turn the unit on and off? The unit automatically turns on when its power cord is plugged in, and automatically turns off when its power cord is unplugged.
-
When using the unit, the cover gets very hot. Is this normal? 12 Yes, this is normal, the unit cover is hot when cooking, don’t touch it with bare hands, use the cover handle to lift and lower the cover. When lifting or lowering the unit cover, don’t hover your hand over the cooking surfaces as it’s very hot and may cause injury, access the cover handle from the left or right side of the unit.
-
The waffle starting to stick to the cooking surface after using the unit a few times, what is happening?
This is normal, there is probably a build-up of burnt food residue on the cooking surface, especially when cooking food with sugar. Allow the unit to cool completely, pour a little cooking oil and let it settle for 5-10 minutes, then scrub the cooking surface with a sponge or soft-bristled brush to dislodge the food residue. Use a damp, soapy cloth to wipe the cooking surface, rinse the cloth and wipe again. Repeat this if still not fixed. -
The indicator light will not turn on and the cooking surfaces fail to heat.
Ensure that the power cord is plugged into the power outlet.
Check to make sure the power outlet is operating correctly.
Determine if a power failure has occurred in your home, apartment or building.
