Unboxing Check
Thank you for purchasing our products, please read the instruction manual
carefully before use. Instruction manual contains necessary safety advice and
user instructions, follow the instruction manual to operate in order to avoid
damaging the product for misuse. Check whether the product is damaged or not
when you receive the product.

Installation
- Insert the stick as shown in the picture, and then rotate to fix it. 2) Put the lights on your yard/ lawn .
- Insert the hook into the bottom of the bulb. 2) Hanging the lights and fixing the cable firmly.
How to Use
APP Download
The public version of the APP is now available on major app shops worldwide. Search “Tuya Smart” or “Smart Life” in the app store or scan the QR code on the right to download.
Guidelines for fast equipment distribution network
- Download the APP and register your personal account, turn on the Bluetooth of your mobile phone and connect to the WIFI network after successfully login in.
- Press and hold the button of the controller for more than 5 seconds, when you see the light body light up in red and flashing rapidly, release the button, the device will enter the network state.
- Click [Add Device] or the[+] plus sign in the upper right corner C Figure 1 ) . Wait for the system to automatically search for the device (Figure 2), then click Add (Figure 3), click NEXT (Figure 5) after the connection is successful.
- Enter the procedure of choosing WiFi and enter a password ( Figure 4) Then click [Next] to light up the white light after a successful connection, finally click [Done] in the upper right corner to enter the main control interface of the APP (if the above operation is not successful, then return to the first step to re-operation).
- Equipment unbinding: APP unbinding: On the HOME page, long-press the device to enter the editing page, select the device, and click the (Remove Device) to complete the removal (Figure 6). After the APP is unbound, the online device will also be unbundled automatically and will enter the fast networking function with the red light flashing.
Function
- Please set the number of bulbs before use (Figure 7), the APP can control up to 30 bulbs. You can adjust the number of bulbs you want to control at any time by clicking the numbers on the right side of the page (Figure 8).
Three settings that control the color of the light
- Choose a color for all bulbs. (Figure 8, The first option on the right side of the page)
- Choose a color for each bulb individually. (Figure 9, The second option, choose the color first, then click the bulb)
- Turn off some of these bulbs. (Figure 10, The third option, click the light bulb)
Dynamic mode settings
- Select the second option at the bottom of the page to enter dynamic mode settings. (Figure 11)
- There are 8 basic schemes in dynamic mode. Click the icon in the upper right corner of the scheme to enter the editing page. You can edit light color, brightness and speed. Once set up, you can also name the scheme and save it.
Music mode
Click the third icon at the bottom of the page to enter music mode. (Figure
12, Note that the music collection port is the microphone of the mobile phone,
not the controller on the light string)
Delayed shutdown scheme
Click the fourth icon at the bottom of the page to enter the plan page, and you can set the device to delay closing or opening. (Figure 13, Figure 14)
Scene settings
Click the middle icon at the bottom of the main page of the APP to enter the scene setting(Figure 15, Figure 16). You can set a timer for your device, or make it turn on/off under certain conditions.
Create group
You can create a group to control multiple devices at the same time. After ensuring that all devices are successfully connected, click the Edit button at the top right of any device page, select Create Group, add other devices, and click Save.(Figure 17) Set the number of bulbs in the group to be the same as the device in the group with the most bulbs (for example, the group consists of a 20-bulb device and a 10-bulb device, then fill in 20)
Bluetooth Control
The connected mobile phone and device can use Bluetooth to control the device
after disconnecting from the WI Fl signal of the mobile phone.
Device Update
We will upgrade or optimize the related functions of the software based on
user feedback, you can update the version here. (Figure 17)
Control String Lights in Series
- Connect string lights as indicated in the picture(Figure 18):
- Control string lights in series App control: select 20/30 bulbs(Figure 19, Figure 20)
Notice
- Up .t o 3 string lights (30 bulbs) are allowed to be connected 1n series.
- Make sure select “20/30” bulbs in the app before using 2/3 series string lights, otherwise the string lights won’t wok normally.
- When using only one string lights, tighten the end plug to avoid water immersion affecting the use.
Troubleshooting
- Failed to connect to the app 1) Please make sure the device is powered on and the phone is connected to WI Fl, and Bluetooth is turned on.
- Before connecting WIFI, please adjust WIFI to 2.4GHz and turn on Bluetooth. When connecting for the first time, make sure your smartphone is close to the device and the router. The distance between product to router about 5 meters is recommended.
- Turn your phone into a hotspot, connect this hotspot and app with another phone.
- Please exit the Tuya app, or plug out and re-plug the string light, and then re-enter the APP to connect (make sure the device is in the pending connection state and the red light is flashing)
- Make sure that the APP is the latest version.
APP control is not sensitive or loss of connection
- Make sure the WIFI network is stable and the device is powered up properly.
- Re-exit the Tuya program and re-enter the program to connect.
- Update APP
About Color and Brightness
In the lighting interface, colors can be selected for both “color” and “white”, the brightness of different colors can also be adjusted. When you choose the “white” and feel the lights are dark, it may be caused by the low brightness you adjusted before, you can adjust the brightness to 100%.
