BATTERY REPLACEMENT
Install batteries by first unscrewing tail cap. Insert 2 AA batteries with the positive (+) end toward head of flashlight. Make sure the spring is in place in tail cap. Replace tail cap by screwing in securely. Use alkaline batteries for maximum brightness and life.
Note: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon – zinc), or rechargeable (nickel cadmium) batteries.
BULB REPLACEMENT
LED (Light Emitting Diode) never needs replacement.
PUSH BUTTON SWITCH
Simply push button switch in tail cap to activate lighting modes: High, Off, Low, Off, Strobe, Off.
IMPROVED IMPACT PROTECTION
Slide the optional rubber cap and tail covers over the flashlight to help protect against drops onto hard surfaces. Note that the raised edges of the head fit into pockets inside of the larger head cover. Always check the batteries after an impact — replace deformed or leaking batteries.
YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Viatek warrants this QBeam product to be free of manufacturing defects. Should any such defect develop or become evident within one year from the date of purchase, Viatek will replace the entire product or, at its option, repair or replace the defective part(s) without charge. This warranty does not cover: batteries, bulbs, flashlights damaged due to normal wear, abuse, improper maintenance, battery leakage, disassembly of parts, scratches to the finish (considered normal wear), or attempted repair by anyone other than an authorized employee of Viatek. Viatek may elect to repair or replace damaged units covered by the terms of this warranty. This warranty extends to the original purchaser only, and is not transferable or assignable to subsequent purchasers. Viatek requires reasonable proof of purchase. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you retain your sales receipt or invoice. This warranty is void if damage or malfunction is due to abuse or failure to operate product in accordance with instructions. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
