Congratulations! You have made the right choice!
This BURG-WÄCHTER fire protection safe is manufactured according to stringent quality standards and will provide you with protection and security for your valuables.
Your safe is pre-drilled on the inside for mounting to the floor.
Mount the safe as follows using the enclosed steel dowel:
- Open the safe and remove the cover cap on the bottom of the safe.
- Move the safe to its final position. Make sure that no power cables, water pipes, gas pipes, telephone lines, etc. are damaged by the following work steps! Make a drill mark through the hole in the bottom of the safe.
- Remove the safe and drill the hole in the floor to the appropriate depth using a 14 mm masonry drill.
- Return the safe to its final position. Assemble the mounting material according to the drawing (see below) and tighten the nut. Make sure that the upper end of the dowel does not exceed the height of the safe bottom.
- Put the cover cap back over the hole.

CAUTION:
The anchor/screw combination is suitable for general use (e.g. concrete, brick, sandlime brick, perforated brick, etc.). You can achieve higher resistance values and thus more security if you use an anchor/screw combination that is from well-known manufacturers and is matched to your floor construction
