GUIDE TO COOKING RICE

  1. Use the measuring cup provided to measure out the desired quantity of rice. For an optimal result we recommend that you avoid using more than 6 measuring cups of uncooked rice per cooking process. Transfer the rice into a bowl prior to cooking and thoroughly wash it twice.
  2. Transfer the washed rice into the internal pan of the rice cooker and, using the water level indicator or the measuring cup, add the required quantity of water and a pinch of salt. The scale is merely an indicator and you can vary the water quantity depending on your personal preference or the type of rice used. Check that the internal pot is securely anchored inside the body of the rice cooker and ensure that there is no liquid outside of the internal pot. Close the lid and connect the power cable to a socket.
  3. The rice cooker is now in keep-warm mode. To start the cooking process, press the switch downwards. The „COOK“ control light remains illuminated while cooking mode is active.
  4. Using the steam insert, you can simultaneously steam vegetables while the rice cooks.
  5. As soon as the cooking process is complete, the „COOK“ control light switches off and the „WARM“ control light automatically switches on. For an optimal result, open the lid as soon as the appliance switches to keep-warm mode and thoroughly stir the rice to allow any excess liquid to escape. Then close the lid to continue keeping the rice warm. For optimal quality we recommend that you avoid keeping the rice warm for longer than 8 hours. To switch off the keep-warm function, simply remove the power plug from the socket.
