AVT DMX512 USB Converter

Instruction

The device is dedicated to all laptop owners dealing with lighting controllers. The DMX system allows up to 512 devices controlled via a three- wire bus. The converter is a small transition module between a computer equipped with a USB port and the lighting installation. Full galvanic separation eliminates the problems of interference on the DMX line, which could have caused unstable operation of the converter. The device is particularly useful for all DMX standard lighting operators.

Installation

Installation of the device in the system is automatic. Drivers can also be downloaded from
https://www.ftdichip.com/
The virtual COM port driver is required. After installing the drivers, an additional virtual COM port will appear in the system.
