Installation guide
1. Unpack the box
Everything required for installation is included within the packaging, no extra cables or fused switches are required.

2. Mount the Puredrive Battery (Usually under the inverter)
3. Battery cables – connecting to the ‘Solis RHI’

4. Connect the cables to the battery
5. Set Up the Solis inverter
Battery start up
- Make sure inverter is on and there is no damage on battery and all wires are correctly connected.
- Turn the batteryDC isolatorONfirst.
- Pressthe battery power buttonONto complete batterystartup.
Battery shutdown
- Please turn off the inverter before beginning battery shutdown (for RHIensure bothAC&DC is off).
- Turn the batteryDC isolatorOFF first.
- Pressthe battery power button OFF to completebattery shutdown
5. Set Up the Solis inverter
Ensure that allow to ‘charge from grid’ is enabled.
To do this, go into advanced settings → enter current password → storage
energy set → storage mode select → self use, click enter → on → charging from
grid → allow.
If this is not enabled the battery will not get a forced charge from the grid
to keep the system from going to sleep, and will cause the battery to loose
power over time.
Modular batteries – Up to 5kWh x 5
Please make sure confirm the status and model of each battery are the same before connecting in parallel, the current batteries model supports 5 batteries connected in parallel Maximum

Connection method when batteries are connected in parallel:

The master battery positive connected with the slave(s) battery positive.

The master battery negative connected with the slave(s) battery negative.
- The master battery communication cable connected to the inverter.
- Then the connections from each battery are daisy chained to the next. Ensure to use a standard RJ45 when doing this. Not the one in the box.
- The last battery will have an empty port to which the RJ45 Terminator must be fitted.
- Switch on the batteries one at a time.
6. Adding Puredrive to the Solis Cloud
PV, grid, battery monitoring and maintenance system.
Use the Solis manual to add the inverter to the Solis Cloud. Ensure you have the Solis Wifi stick
Setting up the Solis Cloud System:
– Refer to Solis Cloud Operation Manual-UserV1.0
– Page 6, 3.1. Register the account for the plant owner.
– Page 8, 3.2. Log into the user account and verify email address.
– Page 10 3.4. Add Plant
Add’ Puredrive as a guest to the Solis Cloud
Add Puredrive as a guest through the plant creation interface
Add Puredrive email to ‘input guest email’.
