Introduction

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
- Read and save these instructions
- Read instructions all the way through prior to assembly.
- This lamp should take approximately 5 minutes to assemble.
- Make sure all parts are firmly tightened.
UNPACK THE LAMP
You should have received the following parts in the package: finial, rubber washer, shade, and harp and lamp body. To protect the finish, place all parts on a soft surface.
ASSEMBLE THE LAMP
- Carefully organize and place all parts on a smooth, flat surface. Line up all of the parts according to the assembly diagram.
- Squeeze legs of the harp together and insert the two ends between the prongs of the harp holder.
- Place shade onto harp, then secure with rubber washer and finial.
- Install a 150 watt maximum medium base type “a” 3-way bulb (not included) into socket.
- Plug the power cord into an outlet and turn on at switch.
BULB REPLACEMENT
- Before replacing the bulb, be sure that the shade and bulb are cool and lamp is unplugged.
- Unscrew existing bulb from socket and replace with a new bulb. Plug power supply cord back into outlet.
TROUBLESHOOTING
- If your lamp does not light, check plug at the outlet. Make sure the plug is fully and properly inserted into the power outlet.
- If lamp still does not light, unplug from outlet. Check the bulb for a broken filament. Replace bulb if necessary, plug in lamp and turn it on.
- If the lamp still does not light, please contact your distributor or place of purchase.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This portable lamp has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other) as a feature to reduce the risk of electric shock. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never use with an extension cord unless plug can be fully inserted. Do not alter the plug.

how tall is this lamp?
It is 30″ from bottom of base to top of shade.
I noticed a difference in the shape of the shades of 32226sl and 32227sl. If ordered 1 of each, is it possible to match both same as 32226?
Kenroy Home shades are not available separately – they are prepacked with the lamp. Since the shades are a standard type, you could purchase two matching shades (of a different brand) online or at your local lighting store. This would allow you to have each lamp style with matching shades.
Does the cord come from the top part of the lamp or from the base?
If you mean the electrical plug cord, it comes out of the base of the lamp. If you are asking about a pull cord, it doesn’t have one. It has a turn switch to turn the light on and off. It is a very well put together lamp, really nice.
How many bulbs does it hold? one, two?

what is the actual size of the shad?
- 16″ across bottom front, 12″ across top front.

How do I remove the pc of cardboard between the base of the bulb and the outer metal?
Honestly I don’t recall having to remove any cardboard around the base of the bulb. My only suggestion is to do it very slowly and carefully if it’s packing material.
Does it use LED?
Yes, this lamp is LED compatible.
I’ve read some complaints about the shade – that it looks cheap and is very thin. Is this true?
The shade is not too thin or cheap looking. It fits the lamp nicely. It lets a lot of light through and looks attractive with the lamp base.
What are dimensions of base?
7/8″ thick, 5 inches wide by 8 inches long.
What is the height of the lamp with the shade on?
Height is 29 3/4″. It’s a great lamp.
Is this a brown slate?
It’s a rusty brown and blue-grey slate.
Would this lamp go with a Slated Square Living Room End Table? Slate tiles in a range of tones or too much?
I purchased this lamp specifically to go with the slated end table and they look very good together.
Since the shade is made of fabric, is it also for outdoor use and will not get mildew or moldy?
I LOVE the lamp but I don’t think it’s designed for outdoor use. The lampshade’s fabric is neither waterproof nor coated for outdoors.
does the three way switch work with LED bulbs?
Yes it does. Love the lamps by the way!
