RXW-1LS Blanket Warmer
- The use of Non-OEM components is strictly prohibited and will void all warranties, both Express and Implied. Electric RX Warmth Blanket Warmers should only be used with the HBPS-1 (AC Pwr. Supply), and/or HBPC-AMP-72 (12vDC Pwr. Cord) *
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Place blanket(s) into the RX Warmth bag. Close front flap securely by pressing Velcro strips together.
- Insert 12vDC power cord into your vehicles lighter outlet, or plug the purchased AC power supply into an available AC outlet.
- Attach power cord to the RX Warmth bag using the white connector located on the front of the bag.
- If using a 12vDC plug, make sure the plug adapter fits securely into the lighter outlet (a loose connection could damage plug and stop power to the Blanket Warmer).
WASHING INSTRUCTIONS
- Remove Heating Elements using access panel found on the rear of the bag (zippered opening).
- RXWarmth bags can be washed using a commercial washing machine, such as those found at your local
- Laundromat. Pre-treat any heavily soiled areas with a dish detergent such as Dawn. This will help loosen existing grease and dirt, In turn making the machine wash more effective.
- Wash bags on “Normal” cycle, using HOT water and a standard detergent.
- After bags have gone through a complete cycle, check the bags for badly soiled areas which may not have come clean with a single treatment, and wash again.
DRYING INSTRUCTIONS
- Make sure the front flap of the HOT BAG is closed, and that the rear access pouch is unzipped and left open.
- Dry bags on MED-HIGH heat for approx. 20 minutes.
- If bags are still damp, install the heating elements in the bag and plug the bag into a power supply. This will help dry the bags from the inside out, and will reduce the risk of mildew.
DO NOT
- Do Not stand bags on end
- Do Not set any items on top of the bag.
- Do Not use dishwasher or dryer.
- Do Not dry clean or steam clean.
- Do Not place sharp objects in or on the RX Warmth bag.
- Do Not leave RX Warmth bag plugged into 12v outlet when not in use (may discharge battery).
TROUBLE SHOOTING
- 12vDC Power Cord (HBPC-AMP-72): Turn 12vDC plug inside the lighter socket to improve connection. Green LED will illuminate on the power plug when a proper connection is made.
- Check fuse located in the cigarette plug (unscrew tip – turn counter clockwise to remove fuse)
- Check fuse of your vehicles cigarette lighter, located in the main fuse panel.
- Desktop Power Supply (HBPS-1): Check connection to your power supply and wall outlet (applies only when using the AC Power Supply).
- Check power cord and plug for broken or frayed wires.
- Make sure connector contacts are clean and free of corrosion.
