HOW IT WORKS

It resembles a typical electronic clock or watch but contains two additional parts: a circuit for decoding radio signals and an antenna for picking up radio signals. The circuit determines the correct time using the radio signals and modifies the time that is displayed on the clock or watch accordingly.

HOW TO SET THE CLOCK

Press and hold down the ALARM button on the radio’s top. Press the TIME SET H button while holding down the ALARM button. Release the ALARM button after the LCD shows the appropriate hour. Press the TIME SET M button while holding down the ALARM button.

  • Connect the CD clock radio in the kitchen. “AM 12:00” will flash on the display.
  • Press CLOCK for a brief period of time.
  • As soon as the right hour shows in the display, press TUNE•TIME SET + or -.
  • Once, press CLOCK.
  • For the minutes to be set, repeat steps 3 and 4.

HOW TO SET UP SONY RADIO STATION

  • From the home menu, choose [Listen] – [FM]. The FM screen is displayed.

Press the ALARM SET A or ALARM SET B button on the AM/FM clock radio to turn off the alarm. ALARM A or ALARM SET B will no longer be active when the ALARM A or ALARM SET B indicator vanishes from the display’s upper left corner.

  • Go to the Home menu and choose [FM Radio].
  • Choose the frequency’s preset number that you want to remove from the presets.
  • Select “OFF” on the OPTION/PWR button.
