DUST PROTECTION & PROTECTION AGAINST WATER

The watch may be damaged if water or dust gets inside. Follow these tips to prevent damage to the device and to ensure the water and dust resistance of the smartwatch. Other liquids are not covered by these user instructions.

  • The IVE 2 model is not suitable for use when submerged in water. We offer splash protection in the rain or when washing hands etc, which is why your IVE 2 should always be protected from water.
  • Do not expose the Smartwatch to running water, such as water from a faucet, running water or sea / lake/ swimming pool waves.
  • If the watch or your hand is damp, dry everything carefully before using the IVE 2 again.
  • If the watch accidentally comes into contact with fresh water, dry it thoroughly with a clean cloth. Failure to dry the Smartwatch IVE 2 as described may damage the device.
  • If the Smartwatch is dropped or subjected to a strong impact, the water and dust resistance may be compromised and the watch may be damaged.
  • If the Smartwatch IVE 2 comes into intensive contact with liquids, water or the like, the watch may no longer function properly. Even if your accessory is splashproof, avoid exposing it to excessive dust, sand and mud unnecessarily, or using it in humid, extremely hot or cold environments.

All of the supplied accessories, such as the charging cable, are not dust & or waterproofed as individual components. Defects or damage caused by misuse or abuse of the included accessories are not covered by your warranty.

PROTECTION AGAINST OVERHEATING

To prevent the IVE 2 from malfunctioning, skin irritation, or damage due to battery leakage, do not expose the IVE 2 to excessively high or low temperatures.

If when wearing the watch it becomes uncomfortably hot, immediately remove the smartwatch from your arm and do not use it until it cools down.

  • Bluetooth® uses the same frequency as some low power industrial or medical devices or machines. For this reason, interference may occur with some devices if a Bluetooth® connection is established in the vicinity of such products.

Structure of the app
HOME PAGE:

On the home page of the app you can see the measured data of steps, sleep monitor, heart rate, blood oxygen and blood pressure. Tapping on the respective graph takes you to the detailed view of the respective function. More on this in the next section:

Detail views.

If you scroll down, you have the option to start a 4in1 measurement. To do this, tap on the detailed view “4in1 measurement”. If you tap on 4in1 measurement, the measurement starts. Keep your arm steady. Pulse, blood oxygen and blood pressure are measured to determine your degree of exhaustion.

IVE II - Structure of the app 2

DETAIL VIEWS:

There is a detail view for each of the pedometer, sleep monitor, heart rate monitor and blood pressure monitor features. Tapping on the respective graph takes you to the start page of the detailed view.

The history can also be seen in the detailed view by tapping on the arrow keys next to the date.

Pulse example                           Blood oxygen example

The collected data on your sleep is displayed under the “Sleep” detail view. There you can see, for example, when you fell asleep and woke up and how long you were in a deep sleep or had a light sleep.

The data will NOT appear immediately after you get up, giving you the opportunity to lie down again. It may take up to 30 minutes for sleep data to be synced and displayed.

AUTOMATIC PULSE AND BLOOD PRESSURE MEASUREMENT

Every 30 minutes, the watch creates an average value of the past pulse, blood oxygen and blood pressure measurements and enters this in the XCFIT* app. (Note, this must be activated in the settings). You can find these average values on the start page of the app. To get a current value of your heart rate, start a manual measurement on your watch.

The measurements taken are for personal use only and should not be used as a replacement for readings from medical devices or doctor’s advice.

TRAINING:

By pressing “Training” on the start page, you will be taken to various training sessions that you have done in the past with your IVE2.

To start a workout, select “Sport” in the function overview of the IVE2 and then select your desired sport. If your sport is not among the 20 sport modes, select “Other”.

Sport mode constantly measures your pulse, blood pressure and blood oxygen data. Because the sensors are always on, the IVE2’s battery life may decrease.

IDEAS:

You can access the settings by pressing “DEVICE” on the bottom bar of the start page.

XCOAST IVE II - Structure of the app 7

Device:

Under the menu item “Notification” you can specify which app is allowed to send a message from your smartphone to your watch.

During initial setup, you may need to allow notification access.

Under the menu item “Reminder” you can set up a vibration alarm. At the desired time, the watch will vibrate gently. Here you will also find the drink and exercise reminder.

Under Movement reminder you can set a reminder that will alert you with a gentle vibration that you haven’t moved enough. To do this, specify the period in which you would like to receive reminders and the reminder intervals and how often this should happen.

Do Not Disturb Mode will let you silence notifications on the watch for specified periods of time. The wake-up gesture is also deactivated at night.

With “Pulse measurement” , “SpO2 measurement” and “Measure blood pressure” you can switch the automatic and permanent measurement of these values on and off. When the function is switched on, the respective value is measured at regular intervals.

Please note: These measurements are for personal use only. They are not medical values and do not replace a professional medical measuring device or a doctor’s advice!

With “Find device” you can make the IVE 2 vibrate if the device is within Bluetooth range.

The “Take photos” function opens the camera of the XCFIT* app and at the same time activates the camera icon on your IVE 2. Now press the smart button briefly to take a photo with your smartphone camera.

With “Temperature unit” , “Units” and “Time format” you can adjust whether the weather is displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit, distances and other units are displayed in metric or imperial and the time is displayed in 12h or 24h format.

The “Backlight Duration” defines how long the screen should light up after being activated by the button or the wake-up gesture.

Note that the watch gives you the option to enable the Always On Display. However, the battery life is massively reduced, since the display is the largest energy consumer.

Under “More” you have the option to reset the clock or restart the IVE2.

This is useful if you find that your IVE 2 is responding more slowly than usual.

To unpair the IVE 2 from your smartphone, tap “Unpair”. You’ll find “Unpair” in the Devices screen at the top next to the IVE 2 image. Then check the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone (especially iPhone / Xiaomi) to see whether the IVE 2 has been removed from the list of paired Bluetooth devices. If this is not the case, disconnect the two devices here as well.

XCOAST IVE II - Structure of the app 8

Under “watch faces” you have the option of selecting other watch face displays. Note that you can have a maximum of 6 watch faces on your IVE 2 at the same time. Therefore, before installing a new watch face, you would need to delete an old unused one.

You can also create your very own watch face. To do this, select a photo and arrange the desired items according to your ideas.

XCOAST IVE II - Structure of the app 9

Under “Profile” you can enter your personal data. This is necessary for measurements to be more accurate.

You can also set your “goals” for number of steps or the amount of sleep you want to achieve.

Under “Third Party Application” you can connect the watch to Google Fit or Apple Health.

Note: If you rejected the Apple Health connection during the initial setup under iOS, you must activate the XCFit data settings via the Apple Health app. This cannot be done via the XCFit app.

*Note on app use and data processing: Your smartwatch can be connected to your smartphone using a variety of Android or iOS apps. Personal data (sensor data such as location data, etc.) can be processed in the process. We are neither developers nor operators of these apps and therefore have neither influence nor access to the data processed. Before installing an app, please carefully read the data protection information of the respective operator stored in the app store.
