SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- In the unlikely event that the device should become defective, never try to carry out the repair yourself. Always have repairs carried out by a qualified technician.
- This appliance should not be used by children younger than 8 years old and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity or lack of experience or knowledge.
- Children are not allowed to clean and maintain the appliance, except if they are over the age of 8 years old and supervised.
- Keep the appliance and the cable out of reach of children under the age of 8 years old.
- Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Always place electrical appliances on a stable and flat, heat-resistant surface, in a place where it cannot fall.
- Parts of the appliance will become hot during use, and for this reason always hold the handle.
- Do not allow electrical devices, cables or plugs to come into contact with water, other liquids or other heat sources.
- The appliance must not be operated by means of an external timer switch, or by a separate system with remote control.
- Do not use sharp or metal objects on the baking plates and pans. This damage the non-stick coating.
ENVIRONMENT
Dispose of packaging materials such as plastic and boxes in the appropriate containers.
- Do not hand this product in as normal household waste at the end of its life cycle, but hand it in at a collection point for reuse of electrical and electronic equipment. Look for the symbol on the product, instructions for use or packaging.
- The materials can be reused as indicated. By helping with reuse, recycling of materials or other forms of use of old equipment, you are making an important contribution to protecting the environment
- Ask the municipality for the correct collection point in your area.
OPERATION
The appliance is intended only for domestic use, not for professional use. The following description is associated with the image on page 2:
- Housing
- On/off switch with indication light
- Plug and cable
- Wok and pancake baking plate
- 6 Wok pans
- Serving spoon
- 6 Wooden spatulas
Unpack the device and remove all packaging parts.
Clean the baking plate and wok pans before using for the first time (see
‘Cleaning and maintenance’).
PLEASE NOTE
- The first time you use the appliance, it may produce slight smoke and a specific odor. This is normal and will disappear on its own. Ensure sufficient ventilation.
- Keep birds away from the appliance when it is in operation. When heating the non-stick coating on the baking plate, a substance can be released that is a nuisance to birds.
Preheating
- Place the appliance on a flat, level surface.
- Only insert the plug (3) into an earthed socket and switch the device on with the on/off switch (2). The switch now lights up red and the baking plate (4) heats up. This takes about 5 minutes.
Wok with pans
- Preheat the appliance as described in ‘Preheating’.
- Wait until the baking plate is at temperature and place the pans (5) on the baking plate.
- Use oil or butter to grease the pans.
- Place the desired amount of food in the pans. Prevent the food from running over the edge of the pans.
- Cook the food in the pan.
- Carefully remove the food with a heat-resistant wooden spatula (7); take care not to damage the non-stick coating.
- When you have finished, switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket. Remove the pans from the baking plate to let them and the baking plate cool down.
Baking pancakes
- Preheat the appliance as described in ‘Preheating’.
- Grease the baking plates. Use a brush to spread the oil or butter.
- Pour the desired amount of batter onto the baking plate with the serving spoon (6). Prevent the batter from running over the edge of the baking plate.
- Bake the pancakes until they have the desired color.
- Carefully remove the pancakes with a heat-resistant wooden spatula (7); take care not to damage the non-stick coating.
- When you have finished baking the pancakes, switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the socket to let the baking plate cool down.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Pancakes usually take 2 minutes to prepare.
- Do not use sharp forks or knives
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the baking plate and pans after each use.
- Remove the plug from the socket and let the appliance and the pans cool down completely.
- Clean the appliance and the pans with a damp cloth. If necessary, you can clean the appliance and the pans with soapy water. Make sure that no liquid gets into the device.
- Dry the device thoroughly after cleaning.
PLEASE NOTE:
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp objects (such as knives or hard brushes) when cleaning.
