Safety instructions

  • The product is intended for private, noncommercial use only.
  • Protect the product from dirt, moisture and overheating and use it in dry environments only.
  • Do not use the product in areas in which electronic products are not permitted.
  • Do not place the product near interference fields, metal frames, computers, TVs, etc. Electronic devices and window frames can negatively affect the product’s functionality.
  • Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.

Warning – Batteries

  • When inserting batteries, note the correct polarity (+ and – markings) and insert the batteries accordingly. Failure to do so could result in the batteries leaking or exploding.
  • Only use batteries (or rechargeable batteries) that match the specified type.
  • Before you insert the batteries, clean the battery contacts and the polarity contacts.
  • Do not allow children to change batteries without supervision.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types or from different manufacturers.
  • Remove the batteries from products that are not being used for an extended period (unless these are being kept ready for an emergency)
  • Do not short-circuit batteries.
  • Do not charge batteries.
  • Do not burn batteries.
  • Keep batteries out of the reach of children.
  • Never open, damage or swallow batteries or allow them to enter the environment. They can contain toxic, environmentally harmful heavy metals.
  • Remove spent batteries from the product and dispose of them without delay.
  • Avoid storing, charging and using in extreme temperatures and at extremely low atmospheric pressures (such as at high altitudes).

Commissioning

  • Open the battery compartment (12), remove the battery contact breaker and close the battery compartment again.

Changing batteries

  • Open the battery compartment (12), remove and dispose of the spent batteries and insert three new AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity. Then close the battery compartment cover.

Operation

Note Press and hold the relevant arrow button to select the values more quickly. ****

Setting of the date/time

  • Hold the SET button (10) down for around 3 seconds until “12 Hr” starts to flash. Set the following information in sequence:
  • 12h/24h, hours, minutes, year, month, day
  • To select the individual values, press the arrow button (7) or (9) and confirm each selection by pressing the SET button (10).
  • If no entries are made for around 25 seconds, settings mode is automatically ended.

Temperature indicator

  • You can switch between °C and °F by pressing the ****button (9).

Backlight

  • Press the SNOOZE-LIGHT button (8) to illuminate the display for around 5 seconds.
Alarm clock

Setting the alarm time

  • Press the ALM-SET button (11) to enter alarm mode. This is indicated by “AL” next to the time.
  • Press and hold the ALM-SET button (11) to set the alarm time. The hour display starts to flash.
  • To select the desired hour, press the arrow button (7) or (9) and confirm each selection by pressing the ALM-SET button (11). The minute display starts to flash. Repeat the procedure for the minutes of the alarm time.
  • If no entries are made for around 25 seconds, settings mode is automatically ended

Activating/deactivating the alarm function

  • Briefly press the ALM-SET button (11), then press the button (7) to activate / deactivate the alarm clock. When the alarm time is active, the corresponding symbol appears in the display.

Stopping the alarm / Snooze function

  • If the alarm clock is triggered, an alarm signal sounds. The frequency of the alarm signal increases as the duration of the alarm increases (speed alarm).
  • Press any button (except the SNOOZE/ LIGHT button) to stop the alarm.
  • Otherwise, it ends automatically after 2 minutes.

Note – Snooze function During the alarm signal, press the SNOOZE- LIGHT button (8) to activate the snooze function. Zz starts to flash on the display. The alarm signal is interrupted for 5 minutes and then triggered again.

Care and maintenance
Only clean this product using a lint-free, slightly damp cloth and do not use any harsh cleaners. Ensure that no water is able to
enter the product.
